    Question to ebay sellers

    HOT! MARKETING
There is some guy on youtube who was (and maybe still is) documenting how he was setting up his own food vending chain in a big city. I think he was doing very well.

    Question to ebay sellers

    HOT! MARKETING
Not necessarily. I have dropped the price of some of my products on ebay and added a shipping charge which compensates the price drop. But I'm getting more sales now than I was getting with free shipping. Also I send everything out by regular mail. I dont know what you might even think of...

    Dezzamondo Vs The World v2.0

Why not charge GBP? Firstly it saves you the bother of converting it to your native currency and losing money on the conversion. Secondly the amount of money you charge seems lower. For example, I recently spend 293 GBP on car parts. That amount seems reasonable, right? I had to convert 477USD...

Selling my car today to ride a bike. Dedicated or crazy?

Why did you buy the car in the first place? And I cycled to and from school for the last 10 years which is 3.5 miles away. I even cycle now that I have my car just to stay in shape and to not waste money on diesel.

How I built my own electric dream-guitar (if you can't buy it - build it!)

    OFF-TOPIC
Very cool, I love it when people literally make their dreams  My current business spawned when I made some non existing items for my RC car and people started asking if they could buy them.

    Buying garages to rent out

    REAL ESTATE
@Runum: it would be a single car garage with a storage and parking function and nothing else, so bassicly just a space. It's basically just a brik shelter for a car. 18 square meter or roughly 198 square foot large. @Amschel: scaling would not be a matter because it would just be a long term...

First tiny taste of passive income

    EXECUTION
Thanks everyone for the nice words. I have been looking at buying a garage box to add more "passive" income. And to put my savings to work. But my calculations suggest it would only give between 4.0% and 5.5% ROI after taxes. (See this thread) This seems quite low to me and I think...

    Buying garages to rent out

    REAL ESTATE
I have been looking at buying a garage box to add more "passive" income. And to put my savings to work. I have seen I garage box that seems alright. It's priced at €12500. Registration fees are around €600-700 but I'll calculate with €1000 in case I have overseen anything. I roughly...

First tiny taste of passive income

    EXECUTION
My business did profit during my vacation and my friend was paid per shipped parcel. In the end this resulted in roughly 10% less profit.

First tiny taste of passive income

    EXECUTION
Been away on holiday to Italy for the last 3 and half weeks and had a friend take over the logistics of my business. So while I was enjoying my holiday I had money coming in. It was not much, but it was coming in while I was 1200Km away climbing the Mont Blanc, visiting Monaco, laying on the...

    Complexity vs. Simplicity

I think the best way to go would be to make it possible to use it with minor knowledge, but also the possibility to go full advanced. Sort of like a equalizer. An equalizer often has a few preset options, like rock, jazz, pop, vocal, etc (simple version) but you can also adjust the volume of...

    Intro And Awkward Success Story

There quite possibly is. Taxes could be and advantage. But if you need to have at least 3 people in you company before you can register it, it can become a huge advantage. Also reduced liability, and certain liability protection provided by national laws. A disadvantage would be that the...

    Intro And Awkward Success Story

If you live in the EU you can register a company in any EU country. I believe that the UK is one of the easiest to register an ltd. But holland isn't that hard either I believe. Lots of overseas companies are registered here in Holland with a postbox registered as address.

    Finding a Manufacturer

I think you are better of searching for the process that is needed. For example injection molding, vacuum molding, rotation molding etc.

    IKke's progress thread, advice appreciated

    EXECUTION
A little update. I did a deal with the online retailer. He ordered 30 sets for a 30% discount on the MAP. Recently I was contacted by a British retailer. I offered him 25% discount and set a minimum order value and offered free shipping above a certain amount. It's been a week and I haven't...
