Is minimalism worth it? A journey to owning 100 items or less

    HOT! MINDSET
Fox, if you happen to look for something to transport them essentials around, this I think is a perfect choice for this sort of lifestyle. You can get models up to 100 litres capacity, but I think 70 hits the sweet spot for the essentials. North Face 'Base Camp' duffel bags. Osprey and Patagonia...

Is minimalism worth it? A journey to owning 100 items or less

It really doesn't need to go as deep as this and the ethical reasons you listed were not a focus point in Fox's post. It's just about keeping what's essential, not cluttering your life with pointless junk and taking part in disciplined decision-making.

I remember riding in an Uber in the Sydney suburbs, near Liverpool I think. He was telling me the prices of some of the properties whilst passing and I couldn't believe it. Crazy prices for such basic and small houses. I get it with Darling Harbour or The Rocks, but these neighbourhoods were...

I too have slowly been getting rid of all my stuff for a few years now. It was really hard at first but after a few months or even weeks, you forgot you even had certain things in the first place. Owning even 4 pairs of trainers would be over the top for me now. Backpacking around Australia...

My absolute dream is to have fully passive online income streams, pack 1 bag with the essentials and just set off to Nepal or somewhere and see what happens haha

    Fortnite/Minecraft Thoughts

    HOT!
Playstation Home always made me laugh but I was hooked when I was about 13. Basically your new character spawns in this swish new apartment and you could buy furniture and clothes (WITH REAL MONEY) in the store. It was so bizarre yet so many people played it. I got engrossed for a few months and...

Copywriting or blog/article writing. Look through all Lex's stuff and you will be earning in no time. Still early days for me but I am quickly gaining momentum with it. They are always jobs being posted on Upwork, PeoplePerHour or Fiverr with many being long term positions.

    Cafe business investment for £15,000

I live in a small-ish town in in the South West of England and it always amuses when someone opens another coffee shop. There must be at least a dozen on our main high street, yet Starbucks is always the busiest, all the time. They usually survive a year and then close down. I cannot grasp how...

Messed up the reply to your comment there. Yeah I am using Codecademy and I agree, kinda overwhelming in areas but it's always gonna be like that when you throw yourself into a learning something from scratch. Just gotta trust the process.

    Hollywood broke me!

    OFF-TOPIC
You gotta see the situation in a positive light and just keep thinking how you can push forward, virus or no virus. Pick a sellable skill, anything (something that interests you enough to stick with it) and just plow on. That’s literally all you need to do. That’s what I’m doing now and wish I...

(Progress Thread) My First Business... Exciting times.

    EXECUTION
Really quick update: So ideally I would really want the product packaged myself to start with and make sure quality is fine etc. I'm taking a gamble on a supplier from Alibaba to drop ship for me and we'll see what happens. They can apply my brand's logo on the rope handles, the nylon protector...

Don't give up completely on the copywriting though. Keep learning and reading because understanding the fundamentals of copy will help you in any business or industry. I mean, I am a shit writer to be honest haha, but I feel I can write quite good direct response style when I put my mind to it...

    Packaging a PRODUCT!

I love the design of these Huel bars and the drink bottles are the exact same design. I mean all it is some Helvetica font on a plain white background with a small chocolate graphic but it really stands out. Sometimes vibrant in your face colours aren't always required to catch one's eye.

Haven't been up Dorset way, but would like to one day. It's nice when the sun's out like at the moment, but winter is a very different story hahah I do think corona's going to decimate loads of the self run cafes and restaurants here for sure though.
