    EXECUTION 
    I go through the same momentum/inertia. What seems to be working is Kaizen. Before starting an idea I keep it for a few days. And when I start I keep it on for 3 - 4 weeks before deciding to call it a day. In these 3-4 weeks Kaizen helps and the idea gets validated.
