Parking Lot / Valet Opportunity and don't want to BLOW IT

Never had any experience owning or managing a valet company (although almost became a manger before my boss got arrested for domestic abuse), but did work as a valet in a very large hospital near me. If you have any specific questions, I'd be glad to answer them the best I can.

Ever wonder how people end up in dead end jobs at 40?

    GOLD!
Spent the last 10 minutes reading and re-reading this post. I've gotten immeasurable value from this forum, but don't think any single post has affected and kicked my a$$ as much as this one has. Thanks @Vigilante and rep+

...What about owning a MLM company?

One of the "newer" and more interesting ones I've seen is Zumba. Didn't think much about it at first, but when I looked more into it, it definitely has MLM in it. Basically, if you want to teach Zumba you have to buy into one of their "training" classes, which only happens 4 times a year or so...

This. This is pure fastlane and entrepreneur mentality. This is also a difficult mind set to transition over. Have problem, find solution. Either your own or others. This is what entrepreneurs do.

    Slowlane Idiocy at its Finest!

    SLOWLANE RANT
Is this a haiku? I realize the book can have a Matrix like awakening effect, I went through it too. Once you read it, it's like your eyes have been opened and you can never look at the world the same way again. However, there is no need of a superiority complex. You and I are no better or...

The Vacation - A lesson in persistence

    MINDSET
No offense taken! Believe me, it was in the back of my mind to stay and work more, but I felt like I really needed a break. Rest time is important to recharge too! Thank you! That's quite a compliment for me! lol I definitely looked into some resorts here in the US in the down time I had. I...

Thank you! This was way back at the end of June/start of July. I should have clarified, we made it on the plane the next day, had no more issues and had a great time!

How much sleep do you get?

    HEALTH
I sleep very deep and well. Nothing too special about our mattress though. It is newer (i think), less than 4 years old. I'm with @AllenCrawley, I usually start my day with a large black coffee. Lately though, my wife has been complaining about me snoring. It seems the more tired I am, the...

Bump Number...Where was I? I checked online, the Passport agency opens at 8:30am and closes at 3:30pm. Looks like some offices require reservation (which you have to make at least a week in advance) and some don't. I didn't come this far, just to give up though. Even if I show up and get turned...

This is something that happened to me this past summer. It was a great lesson learned, a gr,eat motivator for me. I hope it can be for someone else, too. A warning, this is kinda long...Apologies upfront. The Vacation This all started earlier this year, around May-ish. We were a few months...

    How did YOU find "Fastlane"?

    HOT!
Was going to start my own thread, then found this (using the search! Shocker!) BTW, how did this thread ever die? I find this really interesting! Found it while I was looking up ways to make passive money online. Found a blog article about passive money, nothing too important or surprising...
