1 million dollars is nothing nowadays?

    MINDSET
Great question! When I can afford that supercar from the income that my investments are producing... that's when I will entertain the question but not sooner. And even then I might decide that I don't need it, and instead reinvest it (or travel around the world or save all the dogs and cats in...

Don't let the vocal minority prevent you from making a killing! What is your hater to buyer ratio?

    NOTABLE!
Great post! Your experience perfectly illustrates a critical concept: "price is a filter." By pricing higher, you're not just charging more—you’re selecting better, more profitable customers and filtering out the ones who would cause more stress than they're worth. I loved how Dan Kennedy’s No...

1 million dollars is nothing nowadays?

    MINDSET
I’ve been reflecting on MJ's idea that “every dollar is a freedom fighter,” and it’s completely shifted how I think about wealth and success. It’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking, “A million dollars isn’t what it used to be,” or “I need $10 million+ to truly feel rich.” While those points...

The most important business pivot is done before starting.

    IDEA NEWSLETTER
In the past, I overcame this ‘hard work’ issue by doing what I loved. I figured that the only way I would have the ‘juice’ to get the hard done was to make sure I had some passion about it. This worked until it did not work. I believe a key issue was not intelligently looking for the idea...

One Superpower everyone has, but rarely uses.

    GOLD! NEWSLETTER
Great practice, @Cyns I definitely would have made a lot of good hard decisions sooner if I had done this.

One Superpower everyone has, but rarely uses.

    GOLD! NEWSLETTER
This is gold. Hard: starting business; quitting drinking, drugs; going vegan/pescatarian; reading/attending seminars; staying married, working through the hard times... oh and BIG ONE: letting my kid fly solo and suffer consequences from his decisions. Easy: Netflix, Fortnite (man that felt...

Having a hard time making a decision?

    MINDSET
@adnanazmi You asked, along with ChatGPT: The biggest one that is helping me I learned from Tony Robbins. It's a process for making big decisions. I believe he won't mind me sharing it since he often says "Take notes and teach it to others". This process has completely improved my day to day...

What is speed and what is post/speed ratio?

@MJ DeMarco would this be the same answer for this (newish?) value/post ratio?

Do you tip when picking up takeout food?

    OFF-TOPIC
It IS weird... and "Would you like to leave a tip? 22% 30% or maybe for fun, like @BigRomeDawg says, they could ask you to give a 100% tip... just to serve really cool people who occasionally want to make someone's day. A 22% tip won't do that but a huge one.

    Business CPAs recommendations

    INVESTING
Hi @mycrew143 I am often wondering who are the best CPAs and where to find them too, but for a different reason. I personally would not consult a CPA on whether or not a business opportunity is good. My past experience has taught me that CPAs are GREAT for taxes but I cannot let them make big...

Do you tip when picking up takeout food?

    OFF-TOPIC
Yeah I agree about delivery - always nice to appreciate that service. Here where I am, people have it delivered or call in an order and just pick it up. Thanks, @smarty I forgot when I asked this that tipping is different in America than other places I've traveled. When you go sit down...
