Real Estate School - May have just avoided a mistake

Thanks for the insight @JScott! Got my RE license earlier this year for that reason, but you just made the dream a bit more vivid for me!

24 Years old: QUIT six-figure Job, Launched two Businesses

    GOLD!
@G_Alexander This is so inspirational! We're the same age. Unfortunately, I was too busy playing videogames, reading comics, watching TV and studying to be a slowlaner when I was 18. NOT ANYMORE THOUGH! #onwardandupward @Eskil

How to turn a manufacturing error into millions (the Garfield story)

Awesome article! I'm impressed by Jim Davis's entrepreneurship. He saw a need in the comic industry for a cat character that'd be as embraced by cat owners as Snoopy was by dog owners, so he seized the opportunity with the intention of merchandising the heck out of it. Absolutely brilliant!

Just realized that there are progress threads intended for such updates, so I will be chronicling my journey in one instead of this introduction thread. :)

Thanks for the advice @Supercar ! Never thought about getting my pieces made by different manufacturers. Sounds brilliant! I just got back from my meeting with Inventhelp. Again with the pressure, but I didn’t cave in! I’m looking over the booklet they provided me with stats, costs, etc, and...

12/22/17 UPDATE So so far the following has happened. 1. I hired the engineer who agreed to design the product for $500. I paid him $300, and I'll pay him the remaining $200 when the prototype is done. His due date is 12/29/17. 2. The results for the patent search came in, and the idea is...

Haha sorry, I was telling @Eskil that my tendency is to get overwhelmed with analysis paralysis when I’m provided so much advice from so many sources. But like @MJ DeMarco said, private conversations aren’t beneficial to the community, and since you’ve all kindly welcomed me into the community...

Hahaha your word is gold to me, so I’m cutting my ties with them as soon as they finish what I already paid them to do. It’s amazing how you fit reading/responding to forums in your schedule. @Eskil is sharing some great input with me too. May I add you to our conversation?

Thanks for all of the advice and resources guys! Before I dish out any more cash on validation, etc; do you think it’d be wise if I waited for the results of whatever I paid inventhelp to do? To my understanding (and maybe I’m wrong), what you guys suggested is what they’re paid to do.

Hi! I still haven’t gone through with the $11k-$20k service because I’m still waiting for the results of the first $1k investment. Nonetheless, the daunting price alone makes me take a huge step back and reassess my strategy. Not sure what validating a product means, but I’m curious as to what...

Hi, my name’s Dan! I read Fast Lane Millionaire and I’m almost done with Unscripted. I’m the first in my family to venture into entrepreneurship, and as expected, I keep getting pressured (with love) to pursue security through mediocre jobs in which I’ll be making someone else rich while my life...
