Best hobbies for disconnecting from the hustle?

    MINDSET
The question is when to enjoy passive leisure because it is needed. The more guilt we feel may just be a sign of too much down time and to dial back up! Some of mine: walks through the city or in nature, practice piano (videos on youtube), read a book, kitchen shifts (hobby + fitness + rent $)...

Young fastlaners: SHUT DOWN ALL SOCIAL MEDIA

    GOLD! HOT!
Great writeup @heavy_industry, I get never tired of hearing this message! Deep down many people are passionate about breaking free from the chains of their smartphone but are unable to make any practical changes to do so. Once you get past a certain point the only practical step becomes to quit...

    EXECUTION
Howdy! It has been months in the making and I am happy to finally start this Execution thread as I feel like this is a place I am going to need for the many months still to follow... My story is that I discovered coding and web design at a young age and found success relatively quickly. From my...

Which text and font is more readable to you?

    FEEDBACK
Option #3 is the easiest on my eyes, though it could use some spacing at the top of the headings to make the sections more scannable. I don't think going artsy with a serif font matches this forum, so that easily eliminates Option #2 and #5.

AI tools for web development and lead generation: What do the successful fastlaners think?

    QUESTION
No tech stack is perfect and any one you choose will have its own drawbacks. Using a modern framework may make you feel safer because it is new, but may also be harder to learn due to less documentation and less public knowledge available (can you get an answer on Stack Overflow?) and will be...

SIDE HUSTLE: How To Flip Couches & Books For Money! (Try This!)

    IDEA SIDE HUSTLE
Hi @ZackerySprague, great thread and thanks for sharing these ideas. I drive a pickup truck and always keep an eye out for any gems left out on the side of the road for my own use (also in a city in TX) but haven't yet tried to cash in on any of my finds. To add on to your idea, there are a few...

Build a flash games website and run ads? Need your advice

    IDEA
You can create opportunity by making simple games and branding them to clients with established blogs/websites who want to give their users more reasons to stay on their site for a longer period of time. For example, during the Wordle craze I found an open source script that cloned the game and...
