IDEAYou are completely right in that double bag stops this behaviour. I've always thrown a little baking soda into the bin to lower the amount of times I have to wash the inside of the bin. The idea with the pad would be to fill it with sodium polyacrylimade, which absorbs around 50 times its weight...- ambient walrus
