Might Be Thrown Out Of The House

    OFF-TOPIC
Exactly. I left when I was 18. Parents were uber controlling. Didn't like the fact that, as a female, I was so independent and wouldn't do what they wanted me to do. I knew I needed to get out. So I packed my car up and left DC, drove down to Florida, and started a life down there. Had never...

How many women are on the fastlane forum

    HOT! PEOPLE
"raises hand" MJ, I agree with you. There was a time when I first signed up that I ended up leaving because of some of the things that were said about women. But I started lurking and posting again recently because I don't want to let the scare me off or intimidate me. Vigilante - Well said...

Narrowed it down to two ideas

    IDEA
That's why I was asking my question. I bought my first home just a few years ago and our realtor offered us a product very similar to this, but they referred to it as a "home warranty". You basically paid a set amount each year for a certain level of service. For example, we paid $450 for a year...

Narrowed it down to two ideas

    IDEA
I think #1 has a ton of potential. Would it be similar to one of those home warranty programs that are sold to new home owners? I know it's not a warranty, but would it be similar in the sense that an owner pays x amount per month or year and to get a certain level of repairs/service?

    NOTABLE! SAAS / APPS EXECUTION
Dane - Thank you for your honesty in all of your answers. I admire the passion that you have for your business and in helping others. I'm curious as to how much, on average, building a typical SaaS can cost?

What do you think of this flyer I've come up with?

    MARKETING
I have to agree with what others have already said. It's not clear on what you are trying to sell. Although I like the idea of the roadblocks, it's just not presented in a clear manner.

Dirty little secret's about any industry

    OFF-TOPIC
Wasting so many books like that is just sad :nonod: I used to work retail for a company that sold bath products. We had the same policy about destroying something. If it didn't sell or was returned (even unopened) it had to be discarded. And the manager had to walk out with you and make sure it...

    Dead-End Sh*t Jobs ... Yours?

    NOTABLE!
Did retail too. Worked for a beachwear company that sold $7 tees for $30 and had a huge customer base. They weren't even great quality tees. But they had a unique design and were located in prime locations in beach towns.
