    From the book one simple idea. Your goal should be to get them to pay for your utility patent as good faith that they are going to move forward with your product. In your licensing agreement you want to stipulation that you own all improvements made to the design.

    There is allot of pattering that goes into making a sample. It not just the cost of the material. Manufacturers are going to want to get paid for their time in case you do not use them to produce your product.

    I have the same problem with AUX cords. It is probably the way I roll them up and jam them in my pocket every day. I have bought expensive ones too well as expensive as they get at Walmart. Who. uses a AUX cord anymore anyway!
