How to Learn Code, Start a Web Company, $15k+ per month within 9 months

    GOLD! SIDE HUSTLE
How long have you had that domain and have you been doing any bulk emailing from it? It's possible it's blacklisted for some reason. Don't know much about the GoDaddy service specifically. I would avoid using a personal email if you can. We get sales emails a lot and as soon as I see someone...

The great thing about this thread is that inspires people in different ways. Lot's of people learning to build websites, which is great! I'm already from a technical web background and my company specialise in a couple of content management systems. We are very good at this but have struggled...

I'll have to politely disagree with you on this. I know of lots of companies and individuals (including respected industry leaders) who won't touch it, and don't need to.

But he does know HMTL/CSS - this is a good foundation to apply to more or less anything web based and you can hire experts to go beyond this if needed. You could argue that Wordpress is getting too specific and by really specialising in it you're limiting yourself to only doing Wordpress sites...

I'm an idiot and I do this all the time at the moment. Spec things out, discuss every little thing in advance, write it all down, try to itemise all the costs. FFS. The stupid thing is I usually know almost straight away in my gut how much the job should cost! Great advice and so simple...

This topic is great and has really got me thinking about myself and what I'm doing. I'm actually in the web game myself, and have been pretty down on it for a while. I've been fed up and looking for something else to do (shiny object syndrome) and have been jumping from one thing to the next...

    Successful Teespring Campaigns

I think for this type of approach you would need an audience/community who are motivated to buy. This isn't easy to do and will probably take a long time to do, so be prepared for this. My thoughts on this would be to not worry about this in the short term as it will add time and cost. Better...

    Successful Teespring Campaigns

I've had a couple of shots at this with paid traffic. No success though! I found this case study helpful: http://www.cloudincome.com/make-over-400-week/ Which lays it all out well, and makes it seem straightforward. The set up etc. is straightforward but getting conversions isn't as easy. I...

    CA$HVERTISING by Drew Eric Whitman

    BOOKS
I bought and read this book recently and highly recommend it. One observation - the saying 'never judge a book by it's cover' applies here for me. The cover of this book really put me off - the artwork, layout, colours and typography remind me of a spam email or website! I don't think I'd have...

$5000 to $30,000 per month - eCommerce Progress

    EXECUTION
Just read through this whole thread and feel inspired and extremely impressed! It wasn't until your last post that I remembered that you also work for the family firm too. I think that makes it all even more impressive, and makes you wonder what figures you can do if you're dedicated to it full...

    EXECUTION
Good look on your journey and thanks for sharing. I did a couple of things with Shopify last year (that didn't really work out) but liked the platform a lot, and aiming to try something else. Need to finalise a niche/products first. I'll be following this thread with interest. Sent from my...

Lead generation for cars? Made some progress but looking for more...

The guy you're talking about is Joe Girard. He did have phenomenal sales figures and retired a rich man before he reached 50. He's made good money from speaking and books since then too. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

50 Assets You Can Rent Out To Generate Passive Income

    NOTABLE!
Now that actually sounds feasible, if you can pull it off. Sensible, economical cars that the hirers will probably look after.

50 Assets You Can Rent Out To Generate Passive Income

    NOTABLE!
I would say renting cars is not passive, unless you own a huge rental company and have lots of staff. If you're thinking of getting into that industry and starting small then you're going to be dealing with a lot of headaches/heartaches. I know this from experience - I don't run a car hire firm...

Around a desk at work, should I learn to write copy of code? Or both?

I would echo this. It makes sense and you'll also learn much quicker because you're trying to solve real world problems rather than working through tutorials with no definitive goal. Having said that, thinking about your end goal of a Saas product, I wonder whether your time would be better...

Ask me anything about eCommerce (Ongoing)

    GOLD!
Great thread, thanks Biophase. I have a question about sourcing: Do you always just deal direct with factories in China or do you ever go through an agent? I looked into this a while ago and heard some horror stories e.g...

    INTRO
Hi everyone, I'm from the UK and just came across this site and also TMFL very recently - interestingly whilst researching Tai Lopez! Anyway, I'm partway through the book and it resonates with me a lot (to say the least). I would say I've been on the sidewalk for quite a while. Thinking I...
