Where are all the Mobile Home Park Investors?

    HOT! REAL ESTATE
@ironman150 thanks for the response. Unless I'm mistaken wasn't the safe act passed to specifically prevent rent to own deals on mobile homes. Also I've spent a good amount of time on mobilehomeparks.com but the op mentioned he avoided buying from realators, I was curious as to where those deals...

Where are all the Mobile Home Park Investors?

    HOT! REAL ESTATE
Great thread about something I've been interested in for a long time. I looked into Lonnie scruggs' method quite a bit but from what I understand it's now pretty much impossible to do because of the SAFE act. I'm curious how you dealt with that potential issue. Also if you don't mind me asking...

Found a top selling product on Amazon that I can sell for less

    WEB/DIGITAL
Like Ronak said, don't compete on price. If you undercut everyone on price they'll be forced to go lower than you, and you'll go lower than them until your all selling at wholesale. You're better off researching some more and finding a product with less competition.

Why This Guy Wins At Business And Lessons We Can Learn

Everyone needs to find their start somewhere, he's bootstrapping and I'm sure it's working for him. He might not have as much publicity as you do so he has to grind harder, or perhaps he's well established and knows he can two, three, four more deals a month by knocking on doors. Gotta respect a...

Should I study, or just do?

You're probably best off doing both. Of course the first thing you need to do is get a product or service, which you don't need to over think. Don't just look and say "people buy tv's I'll manufacture tv's," rather people need someone to mow their lawns, clean their carpets, install floors. You...

    The Fail Thread

    NOTABLE! MINDSET
Early 2016 - After being inspired by ecom mans eCommerce thread I ordered a bunch of iphone chargers from aliexpress and sold them on ebay. With such a crowded competition item in a crowded marketplace they flopped, but i managed to get rid of all the product Mid 2016 - Took a second stab at...

Looking for some thoughts on Choice on investing in others

    PEOPLE
Do it, and if you would like i can give you the contact info for a Nigerian prince who can hook you up with a few million dollars. Kidding of course, sounds sketchy to me, I'd hang onto the money. Things like this are scams more often than not, especially if the opportunity is coming from...

24 y/o Consultant Leaving the Corporate World to Pursue Entrepreneurship

    INTRO
Welcome Fil. If it were me I'd be hesitant to quit your job until you at least have your ideas a little more fluid as MJ just mentioned. You said you're not totally sure what you want to do yet for your business, have you considered starting your own financial consulting firm since you have...

What would you do at 16?

    HOT!
If it were me I would look for the hustle. I'd focus on getting my license, use whatever savings you have to buy a pick up truck, and start flipping appliances like refrigerators and washing machines.

    16 and Importing

    EXECUTION SOURCING
Hey pilot, good luck in your eCommerce endeavors. If done properly it can be a very profitable avenue, but if done incorrectly it can be a money pit, but either way it's a good way to gain some experience. If you want to hear a few pointers from someone who flopped in his one attempt at an...

How to Learn Code, Start a Web Company, $15k+ per month within 9 months

    GOLD! SIDE HUSTLE
Hey fox, great thread you've got and it's been incredibly helpful. I had a quick question, what kind of conversion rate do you typically experience through this type of selling? Also do you email, cold call, or show up in person?

    Selling food at school.

    EXECUTION
I did this with candy in middle school. I bought packs of 8 mini candy bars for a dollar and sold them for 50 cents each. I did pretty well too, but as others have mentioned be careful. If you get caught once you'll probably just be told not to do it again, but the second time you won't be so...

[AMA] Importing & wholesaling for resale on eBay.

    GOLD! SOURCING
I'm also curious about how someone might handle filling orders from international buyers as far as shipping, and customs laws, or would it be wise to sell exclusively to U.S. customers? Another question about shipping, I only have a home address. Do you use your home address as your return...

    Starting Shopify Scarf Store

    EXECUTION
Since scarves are seasonal and you might not have many sales late spring through summer, have you considered maybe doing a seasonal website? Maybe sell scarves during the fall and winter, and then sell something like bathing suits or sandals in the spring and summer. Just an idea to keep traffic...

    GOLD! SOURCING
Hey niterider and welcome to the forum. If I may try and help shed some light on your situation (take ecom mans advise before mine, he is much more well versed in ecommerce) you would be better off ordering the products yourself. You can run into a bunch of problems dropshipping from china...

[AMA] Importing & wholesaling for resale on eBay.

    GOLD! SOURCING
I'm curious about when you first launched your own site, did you file any paperwork or did you just sign up on shopify and start selling your products? I'm thinking about launching an ecommerce site of my own fairly soon, but one of the things stopping me is that I don't know what I have to do...
