    I think I only track form submissions. That gives you a good idea if things are going well. The other thing I track is the client's mood. They'll let you know if your campaigns are working.

    Sell the result, not the service. Once they're sold on the result, you can go into the how. "I'll run ads for you first..." etc. Say do a swell job. They'll usually go "What's next?" Then you say "Let's fix up your Google Profile" etc.
