    The Broke Accountant

    HOT! INTRO
2026 Update I'm still here and life is great. :) The end of 2025 was quite unexpected. My partner decided to sell his truck and change his job. He wants to be closer to the kids, which I fully understand. The problem is that in order to sell the car, we first need to fully pay the bank loan...

    The Broke Accountant

    HOT! INTRO
Hey, Gabe, sorry for the late reply. I did, yes. Once. I got to the conclusion that I needed 10 mil euros for my dream life and then forgot all about it.

    Is Anyone Else Intermittent Fasting?

    NOTABLE!
Hey, @JimmyJonCricket ! Yes, I did manage to do 72+ hours on just water and coffee. I didn't add anything to my water, I just did it plain. I could do all the chores / things that I was supposed to quite well. Good mental clarity. I had a bit of a struggle on day two when I was low energy, but...

Pounding the streets for a Foundation Job

    HOT! SIDE HUSTLE EXECUTION
Stay open up to the idea of working in that bar. If the person they hired last week leaves (and today we are dealing with a lot of people that are not serious in the work field) there might be some opportunity for you to hop in. I would visit them again if they don't call until de end of the...

Pounding the streets for a Foundation Job

    HOT! SIDE HUSTLE EXECUTION
Hey! I know things have changed a lot in the last decade, but if things get desperate, do what I did when I lived in Melbourne. I found the busiest main street (close to my house), with all the shops and restaurants and handed them my CV. They had no hiring posts in their windows, but I just...

Mind blown: Lovable for no-code website development and apps.

    HOT! - AI -
Okay. Took the time to watch the video. I don't know much about web development, but that's pretty impressive. I can only imagine how much work would have gone into making this kind of an app before tools like Lovable. Their pricing is also decent for the things you can get done in such a short...

I would love to be your buddy for 3 days, starting tomorrow. I've never done such a long fast before, so I cannot promise 7 days. But I'll try my best. Did you start @seabiscuit ?

    The Broke Accountant

    HOT! INTRO
Weekly update. Last week was slow and depressing. Despite my conviction that this time I am heading in the right direction within my professional field, shiny object syndrome kicked in. And it went a little bit like this: it is my absolute belief that with enough time and effort you can achieve...

    EXECUTION
Oh, I'm so watching this thread, Andy! My kids are a lot younger, but I already feel what you're describing. We have to keep up with them, so we can still have things in common & build bridges along the way. Enjoy the process & please keep us posted.

    The Broke Accountant

    HOT! INTRO
This is the mindset for pretty much all of my investments at the moment. I only invest bigger amounts in treasury stocks, which I know are safe and non-taxable. These investments are short term, though. I have seen what happened with bitcoin in the last week. I bet it was a rollercoaster for...

    The Broke Accountant

    HOT! INTRO
Alright. This week is going to be busy as hell. I am doing a good job at keeping up with my job. I am doing everything that I used to do right, but there should be a few tweaks, because I have to get much more done than before. One of the clients that I have was pretty much done by me (80%), but...
