There is a roth 401k available as well with higher limits. This makes more sense for the op. Your idea of using life insurance is a great idea, but irrelevant to this discussion.- edavidson

The problem is not self dealing as your share is only 5%. The problem is you can only make cash contribution to an IRA. There is another option if you have some self employment income, you can get a solo 401k. You can make non-cash contributions to the Solo 401k. There are other benefits to...- edavidson
