    Locating an engineer

What kind of engineering help do you need? Just a CAD drawing? Im up in VA which maybe a little bit of a haul depending upon where you are in KY. I work in applications engineering but have a fell team of product engineers and access to a bunch of manufacturing resources as well. Are you...

    Living Rich VS. Delaying Gratification

    HOT! MINDSET
Awesome food for thought in this post. I am in a mixed mindset right now about this. I dont have a fastlane vehicle yet. I have tried a few things and failed at a few things (although none were complete failures) but I am saving nearly every spare cent that I have "for when I figure it out"...

    Tools Explained Clearly

    FUNNY
STRAIGHT SCREWDRIVER: A tool for opening paint cans. Sometimes used to convert common slotted screws into non-removable screws and butchering your palms. Simply incredible. Thanks for the laugh!

    Contacting people you admire

vr4playa- What you just said is exactly why I am feeling doubtful about it. It's not that I am afraid to actually contact the guy, I mean through the internet (or even the phone) there is really nothing to lose. Worst case scenario, I don't get an answer. The reason why I am doubtful is...

    FTE EXECUTION
Re: Mint.com founder - how he did it (170 mill exit after 3 years Bump for this awesome vid. I was literally shocked after watching it that no one else posted. I definitely think that this is worth your time if you: -Are thinking about starting an internet company. -Would like a general...

    Contacting people you admire

Thanks Runum. Maybe my wording was a bit misleading. I am not really asking them for anything more than maybe a few minutes of their time to answer a question or two. I think they would immediately think I was nuts if I asked them to work for them or something. For example: About DFW Elite...

    Contacting people you admire

I have been thinking about trying to get in contact with the people that I admire (in a business sense). For a while now I have been reading interviews with people that run businesses or are doing the things that I want to accomplish, and at the end of the interview I find myself thinking...

New age Entrepreneur...Why it is scary.

I agree with mtnman. The scariest thing in my life right now is how closely I relate to Peter from Office Space. Instead of working on a virus that I learned in Superman 3 that will rip of the company for fractions of a cent, I am working towards my path to the fastlane.

The more I think about my ideas the more rubbish they seem

    IDEA
Eastwind: If you want to get a thread going of bad ideas, I would be more than happy to share with you all of the crappy ideas that I think up. The only problem I see with it is that I don't think many other will participate. I think that a lot of people are afraid that the idea they are...

    Ideas for different industries?!

    IDEA
I am not sure how to ask this and actually communicate what I really mean but here goes: Where do you get ideas for businesses in different industries? I am beginning to think that I have a limiting belief that I can only do business in the few industries that I know something about. I then...

I THINK I FINALLY GOT ONE!!!!! Now I need a favor

    WEB/DIGITAL
Cars may not be the best example because there actually is a lot of information on them, but I used it because I know about them. Maybe this is a more simple breakdown: 1) You have a problem 2) You look online and find that there are a 50-60 things that could cause that problem. 3) You also...

Love Your Business More than Your Family

    MINDSET
Exactly! the reason I want financial freedom is to spend MORE TIME with my Family, not necessarily to make more money. Of course I want to make as much money as possible for me and my family to enjoy, but there is a point where I will draw the line.

I THINK I FINALLY GOT ONE!!!!! Now I need a favor

    WEB/DIGITAL
PS: Maximus, look at what I wrote about the use of information above. I know you and I have been struggling together so I hope I can help you out here. Is there a group that you know of that has all of the information in the world at their fingertips but can't necessarily do anything with it...

I THINK I FINALLY GOT ONE!!!!! Now I need a favor

    WEB/DIGITAL
Thanks! The site would be the core and need to be loaded with high value information. The information is already all over the internet, but the problem I see is that it is not condensed into an easily usable source. The other issue I see is that the information is very specific to fixing...

Love Your Business More than Your Family

    MINDSET
Yea I am with you guys on this... Just reading the article bummed me out. The part that really got me was where he said something along the lines of: if you cant put your business in front of everything else in your life, then prepare for financial mediocrity!

I THINK I FINALLY GOT ONE!!!!! Now I need a favor

    WEB/DIGITAL
Thanks! Yea i am pretty pumped. I need to do just a little more research and make certain that I can't find anything else like it. I am excited because I know that it will actually help people. That's why I am surprised I haven't been able to find anything yet. I am a little overwhelmed...
