    Building Something Similar To Craigslist

    WEB/DIGITAL
I might totally be missing what you are trying to accomplish, but IMO just get a craigslist clone script and get started. If what you are doing catches on fix all that other shit later.

I read this a while back but it may help you get some ideas: How to Build a Six-Figure Blog Without Anyone Knowing Besides that, when I go to your site, I don't see any blog posts. I just see the "about WTW" and "5 reasons to sign up". Did you change something? EDIT: Also thought I would add...

Does Apple violate the commandment of NEED?

Apple (and many tech gadgets) have a way of making the user feel as if they need it, regardless if they really do or not. I need an iPhone because I wouldn't be happy with a phone that just made calls. Do I need it to survive? nope, but neither do the millions of others who went into the apple...

Help me avoid living on the streets

    MINDSET
I have never understood why people think that the only job beyond something "high paying" is in the fast food industry. I have had some pretty shitty jobs along the way, but almost all of them paid better than I would have gotten at a fast food joint. 1) I spread driveway seal for a local...

    Take this opportunity?? (used cars)

Thanks for all the replies so far. JackEdwards: You are correct in your assumptions. He will be providing nearly everything needed to get started. I will bring some money to the table to buy our initial inventory, and of course have the responsibility of working my a$$ off to handle the entire...

    Take this opportunity?? (used cars)

Thanks for the feedback. I know some other on the forums have done similar things as well and there are also a lot of other members with years of business experience. I guess I am a little hesitant because of how I think after reading the book and being part of the forum for so long. The...

    Take this opportunity?? (used cars)

So I have been presented an opportunity and would love to get the feedback from the community. A few of you may have read my thread about flipping cars a while back: https://www.thefastlaneforum.com/general-business-discussion/23241-flipping-cars.html As a side gig I had been buying used cars...

10 ideas that made $100 Million

    IDEA
I agree with what you guys are saying. I have seen the interviews with a lot of these entrepreneurs and the article leaves out the best parts. Makes it seem like they had an idea, called up a major brand and got a check for 100 million.

    Do You Have a Tablet?

I have an apple iPad. I bought it because it was "freaking awesome" :) but also use it for work. The citrix app lets me run many of the programs I need for my job, and the outlook exchange lets me get my email without having to lug around my full blown laptop. For 2-3 day sales trip where I am...

Is a College degree worth it? Ask these people.

Besides the argument of whether or not a college degree is worth it, my feeling is that a college degree for most majors is not worth the extra money from a "TOP SCHOOL" @ 50K a freakin year!!! Most of the time when I read these articles, I see a common theme: the students paid a huge amount to...

    MINDSET
I'm glad to hear that someone else feels the way that I do so thanks for posting. I just turned 26 and am having the same feelings. I work a 9-5, have contemplated going back for my masters, and have struggled to create Fastlane opportunities. On the flipside though, each attempt I make is...
