    Late Starter - Need Advice

    HOT! MINDSET
Anyone who is a newbie sucks at what he's trying to do. Then he sucks less a month later. Then even less a year from then. Then he barely sucks, and gets to be called a master. Another +1 for MJs previous comments: This past week, I was fortunate enough to see Mark Cuban on stage at the...

Why Lazy People Never Get Rich

    MINDSET
Wow, great. Sad that she rushed to interrupt him and didn't understand his first point. That point was imbued with wisdom, and hard to grasp. If anyone else here has an experienced take on it please do share. I find it relating to MJ's "provide value TO" vs "start a biz because YOU think it'll...

you deal with the issue WHEN and IF you have the issue. Don't think 10 steps ahead in the hypotheticals. Right now think of step 1 - where do I get these clients, and who can i hire? (if you decide to go this way)

This thread - https://www.thefastlaneforum.com/community/threads/a-hustlers-guide-to-buying-and-selling-anything-part-2.56959/ Look, you're asking people to tell you what to do. It don't work that way. You have to poke around, try things and feel in your gut that its your thing, or it aint...

Why Lazy People Never Get Rich

    MINDSET
I'm guilty of relaxing as I have more success. My advice, and its easier said then done but keep working until you've gotten to a "checkpoint" so to speak. Until you know you have x number of months/years of living expenses and what you need paid off, so if you stop, and stall, then you at least...

    2015 Fastlane Summit, Official Thread

    MEETUPS
http://www.yelp.com/search?cflt=sharedofficespaces&find_loc=Minneapolis, MN I've been to Cocos in st paul and mpls, people seemed to be doing work. http://cocomsp.com/ I might think about this more as for creatives the working space has to be a bit different - you need to remain...

Money Management Habit - How to Save or Blow Money

    NOTABLE! MINDSET
So check this out, 3.5% on your money as long as you make 1k deposit from another bank per month. That's not too shabby! No min balance it looks like as well. Does anyone here have ING? Any issues? (for US ppl) http://www.ingdirect.com.au/savings.html Also looks like they allow adding sub...

Money Management Habit - How to Save or Blow Money

    NOTABLE! MINDSET
Ok I'm on board. Right off the bat I see a challenge that if I want to go on a euro trip this summer, I have to make more not to cut into other stuff. So you actually just have two accounts? Necessities and others? I have 4 accounts I can use, and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to...

HOW DO I SERIOUSLY GIVE UP GAMING

    GOLD! MINDSET
Gaming is an easy escape from life and real decisions. When you're young, you think you have tons of time, but as you get older you realize you have to be careful with it because building life and doing things takes a lot longer than you imagined. Priorities are everything at that point...

It's time to get my shit together; sell eBooks

    EXECUTION
Thats a part of it of course, and the other issue is something I've noted long before we even had insiders. As any forum gets bigger, the quality goes down. This is still the best forum for business and action taking!

Rethinking The Office and Recasting The American Dream

I dont care how pretty it is if I have to be there 8 hours a day 5 days a week. I worked on a 11mil yacht and that got tiring too :D

    Worth it's weight in gold

    PUBLISHING
I am typically a pantser, which led me to being stuck on book 4 in the series because the plot just didn't feel right, and I wanted to start writing with confidence since readers expected the story to go wild. THis book really really helps in making one very very confident in their outline. It...

    Naivete is a Great Thing.

    HOT! MINDSET
How about getting off your soap box and instead pointing the users of the forum to your progress thread with specific measurable results? The reason that this thread exists, is that there are people who have an idea, and there are the people who understand that the idea is the first step out...

    Dating & Girlfriend

    HOT! PEOPLE
Could look into women who came here from abroad. More traditional roles and values there. Can be done by going to places they hang out - salsa lessons, dining/coffee shops at specific ethnic neighborhoods, setting filters up on okcupid, etc.

    Dating & Girlfriend

    HOT! PEOPLE
I'm going to say something that US people might not be sure how to understand. If you're trying to get a partner for life, you must know how to direct her. At your age its harder, as it is easier with girls 22-26 year old. but i think it is possible at any time when she realizes youre the one...
