    Start by working out who exactly your target audience is. Get down in to the detail i.e. not just 'people over 30 with graduate degrees'. More like 'women living in West London with 2 children, a post-grad degree, who like LuluLemon Sweatpants and vegan food, and speak French.' - the more detail...

    Agree. A lot of people complaining were relying on e.g. lookalike audiences and didn't know what to do without them. There's a lot to be said for really learning and understanding how advertising works in the first place.

    Some pretty strong statements there. There's been YOY growth in interest in influencer marketing, and most of the big companies I know are spending more on it. The change though is that they are now mostly interested in smaller micro-influencers (1000 - 5K following). Personally, I don't think...

    I was a teacher here in England, and yes, I agree 'The Kids are Alright'. Just to reiterate, I'm not having a dig at any one group. I wasn't saying that young people don't read, don't enjoy it, or that screens are bad - my 2 are welded to them (just like their mother!) My point was a wider one...

    Someone on here mentioned Ayn Rand, and I'm embarrassed to admit I'd not heard of her before. I googled and now reading 'Atlas Shrugged'. I can see why it's become a little cult-y.

I was a secondary school teacher for a while and, for all sorts of reasons, we spent a lot of time 'teaching to test' (or doing 'drill to kill' if you prefer).
