What some ideas for content besides articles?

    IDEA
And of course the point of producing content like pdf how-to's and stuff, is you can alternatively upload them to sites like scribd, slideshare etc. instead of directly on your own site, [with a relevant link or two in them], which gets you a backlink and will help establish your online 'brand'...

Infographics, ebooks, pdf reports, downloadable how-to's? Basically stuff that provides value and therefore gets you backlinks?

Seeking a webpage design just like these, but can't find...

    WEB/DIGITAL
Or if you really want to just rip stuff, have a look at httrack (pc) or sitesucker (mac). The simplepickup example page cited is actually just a simple single flat html page built on Bootstrap with a custom css file added.

Ask me anything about eCommerce (2012)

    GOLD!
On the latter part of your question, before I got into affiliate marketing, i worked roughly 10 hour days at my job, but also owned two ecommerce sites that were doing ok. One sold a specific brand of knives, the other a specific brand of laptop bag - about 25 items for each site, so 50 in...

Seeking a webpage design just like these, but can't find...

    WEB/DIGITAL
Most bootstrap/themeforest landers will be similar in structure, in the sense that they will be horizontally sectioned and grid-based (making walls of photo's easy to replicate)...you've really just got to pick one you like the look of, and customise it to your needs. Nothing will be quite...

Seeking a webpage design just like these, but can't find...

    WEB/DIGITAL
You could also try looking at 'landing pages' on wrapbootstrap.com (bootstrap is a pretty easy to learn responsive html framework that comes with a lot of capabilities built into it - see the docs etc at getbootstrap.com), or the landing page section at themeforest.net - there's plenty that are...

Everpix: Fully Documented From Startup to Shutdown

Yeah the VC feedback was a good read, and with the benefit of hindsight very accurate. Looked to me like it was pretty apparent from very early on that the free-paid member conversion rate wasn't quite where it needed to be, and as they scaled up that just didn't change - so the monthly subs...

Everpix: Fully Documented From Startup to Shutdown

Thought this was interesting, Everpix was a photo storage app [web & mobile] that started up in 2011 and shut down late last year after running out of money. All their internal docs and data are up on Github and make for some interesting reading. Consumer surveys, paid traffic data, daily web...

    Jesse Willms, the Ur-Fastlaner

    EXECUTION
Jesse's story is an interesting and pretty incredible one for sure. But yes, it was all highly unethical with rebill terms that were less than obvious, multiple forced upsells etc etc. In fairness, it was really no more unethical than the way all of us affiliates promoted his offers. I won't be...

Not so newbie question: Building a complex website

    WEB/DIGITAL
Either put a job up on elance or odesk - there's some really awesome Eastern European guys on there for building scrapers, and prices would likely be more reasonable than you'd think. Doesn't sound great that you're not confident enough to back your own idea financially though ;) Otherwise, try...

Outsourcing and launching an info product

    SOURCING
Post a fixed-price job on odesk or elance to get your ebook or whatever written. Do your due diligence and get samples of previous work. As to payment/fulfilment you have to protect the actual download url of your file or its just going to get stolen/shared around, so unless you want to...

    Using Images From Google

    MARKETING
Depends on the license terms. Example: http://www.morguefile.com/license/morguefile If in doubt, always credit. At least it shows some willing/respect on your part. It's not worth the potential hassle that using a 'stolen' image can bring, so don't waste your time - there are plenty of free...

    Using Images From Google

    MARKETING
This is a good resource for all kinds of free image sites - http://www.bluevertigo.com.ar/ (although what it has to do with pantyhose I have no idea) ;) http://tineye.com is also a very useful image search tool. Also try flickr but be careful with creative commons images - copyright trolls are...

Critique my website, first business (drop shipping)

Yes I know about the droid tv boxes/dongles, I'v got one - that's what I meant, I was expecting to see them not all the tablets, phones, rc cars etc etc. To my mind you're in a highly competitive area with a lot of large competition, so I wouldn't expect huge or directly profitable conversion on...

Critique my website, first business (drop shipping)

    - Background very distracting, and makes your 'chat with us' box almost invisible - Grammar/spelling seems a bit poor - example "Don’t miss out on a hole new android tablet experience" - Site is called android smart tv's but when i get there its all tablets, phones and helicopters - Make it...

What is the best way to monetize porn in 2013???

You're probably better off asking this over on gfy.com tbh but yes, the major tube sites are making a lot of $ from ads. A lot of affiliates moved onto adult inventory when more mainstream sources became less than welcoming. The major sites are doing pretty huge traffic volume though, and ship a...

List is here, and you can download it as a pdf for reference: http://www.3things.be/useful-list-of-online-advertising-platforms/ (apologies in advance cos I didn't categorize it as neatly as it now is in the OP's post, I was lazy!). :)
