I am confused about ebay fees

So if I read correctly then this is the break down of the fees: Ebay fee: 10% Paypal fee: 2.9% + 0.30 per transaction I sold an item for 85.99 and I have 83.20 in my paypal account. Obviously I'm not complaining about having more than expected.. But can someone who is experienced with ebay...

I think I've figured out what I want to do..

    HOT!
I just meant by my own standards I am not where I want to be yet. As for your other post, my advice would be to do at least 1 thing today that gets you closer to your goal.

Motivation is a temporary feeling. Everyone loses the motivation at times. It's the ability to keep moving forward during those unmotivated times that sets the successful people apart from the unsuccessful. The way I see it, is you have to keep your eye on the bigger picture and find your WHY...

Got rejected by a girl today...

    HOT! MINDSET
I smell opportunity for any of the ladies out there! Oh, and regarding the whole "women don't know what they want" thing.. Some do, some don't. Same with men. The problem arises whenever someone knows what they want but LIE about it to be more socially accepted. Example: Person: "What kind of...

What camera do you use for product photography?

@AllenCrawley I would also be very interested to see those plans. Thanks, I will do the hole thing. I like my cowboy studio lightbox but it is a little small. I was thinking about making a bigger one using poster board but thought it would be too thick for the light to get through. I will...

What camera do you use for product photography?

All I have right now are two 8 inch clamp lights I got from home depot. I also have the two lights that came with the cowboy studio light box but they don't seem to project much light at all so I don't use them. I'm also working with limited space. I'm thinking about picking up a folding table...

What camera do you use for product photography?

I actually have that exact light box. The main reason I was thinking about getting a camera is so I'd have my own versus borrowing someone elses, so I figured I might as well get a good one. Plus, the camera I am currently using has trouble focusing at times. At certain angles it doesn't even...

What camera do you use for product photography?

I am looking to improve the photography of things I am selling. What camera would you guys recommend for someone on a budget? I really don't want to spend any more than $200. Before anyone mentions it, I want to point out that I realize you don't need to go out and spend thousands of dollars...

Question for people who like to cut ties

    MINDSET
I've wondered this too. People say "successful people hang around other successful people". Where does that leave room for the not successful people to begin hanging with successful people? Maybe it isn't meant to be taken literal?

A Hustler's Guide To Buying And Selling Anything (Part 2)

    GOLD! SIDE HUSTLE
I had 3 items listed on ebay. I listed a 4th item and one of the original 3 items disappeared. It still shows up under "selling" but it does not show up on my profile page where it says "items for sale". Why is this?

Bank account tied to PayPal? Beware.

    HOT!
If I remove my bank account from paypal does that mean I can't accept payments through paypal on ebay? Paypal is one the most popular ways people use to buy things on ebay. Also makes it super easy with printing my own labels etc... What are my options? Thank you.

    Health Insurance?

    OFF-TOPIC
So I guess if I don't get the Obama insurance in 2015 I will be getting fined and the fine will increase each year. I don't care to get it but I don't care to pay a fine either. I do need health insurance though, does anyone know any good options? I've done a little searching but I've never had...

I get that the OPs search for a pity party is not exactly admirable, to say the least. However, is the name calling and all the rude comments necessary? For a bunch of big shot 'fastlaners' some of you guys sure do have a lot of time on your hands to go around bashing people for no reason...
