    I think it's a great idea and just like you said, use it for proof of concept and then later transition off. It seems like a good tradeoff because you aren't reinventing the wheel and its allows you to get up and running soon, but you do lose some of the control.

    Couldn't you use TJ Maxx, Ross, & Marshall's to balance the risk of bringing inventory back? You sell to retailers on consignment, then anything that doesn't sell, you sell to those 3 stores referenced earlier? Or to Goodwill as a write off?
