    Self-Directed IRA / Self Dealing

Sorry, I probably worded it poorly. I think I recall a financial advisor once telling me that your premium payments that are paid out are tax free but anything earned over and above that would be taxed as ordinary income when you took distribution.

    Self-Directed IRA / Self Dealing

The tax free portion is great ( although doesn't income over and above your initial $720k get taxed? ), but i'd have serious concerns about what the purchasing power of $183k would be when in 20 years much less 50 when the policy would cease payments. On that same note are payments guaranteed...

    Stuck in a crossroad F*CK!

    MINDSET
Many places ( FL included ) require that you be an agent for a period of two years before you're eligible for your brokers licensing. As you said lots of required classroom hours to accomplish that plus a fair amount of continuing education on an annual basis.

    Stuck in a crossroad F*CK!

    MINDSET

    My Fastlane Construction Technology Business

Sounds like an interesting idea. I think you're right that the construction industry is going to advance technologically over the coming years. The past five or six years the industry has been so depressed that not many people have considered contractors / subcontractors / builders as a viable...

Ideas: student flats & subletting for $$$

    IDEA
You're really just describing the model used by student housing investors / developers. These aren't the easiest properties to manage and their vacancies can be seasonal but you've almost always got a pool of available tenants to keep your numbers in an acceptable range. I certainly wouldn't...
