Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?
GOLD! HOT! CHATHave you tried software such as xero? They've recently added an ai model that categorises transactions based on pattern recognition and its been pretty reliable for me so far I use it for the businesses but I've also started using it for my personal expenditure to be able to see in real time...- jaywills

Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?
GOLD! HOT! CHATLast week went pretty much as planned. This week: had a conversation with an acquisitions consultant, I'm on the fence. On the one hand some experienced guidance could expedite things, on the other it seems like yet another cash for a glorified course type setups.. SAAS is a little behind...- jaywills

The lifestyle, hobbies, and fun thread.
HOT! CHATI tend to find myself having to have a logical reason to own things eg to fit with the business or it has to retain value etc.. So I've been changing that by spending some money just because, especially on things I enjoyed as a kid. So the work space has slowly become a blend of work and play...- jaywills

Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?
GOLD! HOT! CHATThanks for the response :) 1) There's a bit of duality here I think this is possible in two ways. I have the exact name for the profession which has given me a high level of organic visits (liknedin 3500 search appearances in the last week, 2000 followers with literally zero effort) which I...- jaywills

Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?
GOLD! HOT! CHATLast week: on the back of posting here I chatted to an old mentor who gave me some validation to the SAAS part of the business. He scaled a consultancy from zero to a $6m exit it 5 years in the same industry. Spoke to a few potential advertising avenues - not sure if its a good fit but facebook...- jaywills

Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?
GOLD! HOT! CHATSorry, thought I had replied - the short answer is "sort of". Clients to date all need the product and would have benefited from it. My contacts within those organisations for the most part have moved on and many in the industry have this stubborn tendancy to not worry about saving money until...- jaywills

Vegan / Vegetarians Only (Chat about lifestyle, opportunities, food, whatever...)
NOTABLE!I'm not a vegan but as an animal lover who finds it ever-conflicting not to be, I enjoy lurking in threads like this to pick up new ideas and recipes and ways of keeping my protein up for training :) Would love to know if anyone has a good vegan pepperoni alternative.- jaywills

Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?
GOLD! HOT! CHATSure, was trying not to ramble too much, I have a habit of brain dumping. Generally I operate as a construction claims consultant (contractual disputes, quantity surveying, cost management). That can look like one major client paying thousands a day, a client paying a lump sum for a...- jaywills

Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?
GOLD! HOT! CHATHmm sort of. The old business is working in the literal sense, I'm earning more than ever out of it. But it certainly isn't working for me anymore. I'm craving time around my family, not setting an alarm and going on mid morning drives, over 14 hour days killing it for clients. The new one...- jaywills

Has Moving to a Warm and Sunny Climate Made You Happier?
NOTABLE! MINDSETExcellent, depending on what sort of trip you want there's always the closer to the city areas (admittedly less to see in the ones in WA but there are still some great spots to visit). For more adventure the north of WA is sensational, I spent a year or two working in the Kimberly region and...- jaywills

Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?
GOLD! HOT! CHATTo a degree :) the "Pick a better business model" is where I'm getting a little stuck. Which leads to my eye fixating on other businesses altogether only to arrive at square one. I have developed a (sort of) SAAS as my different business model, and am even adding an AI interrogation model to...- jaywills

Has Moving to a Warm and Sunny Climate Made You Happier?
NOTABLE! MINDSETThanks, it's funny but it is literally the dream and sometimes you don't reflect and realise that until someone asks questions about it so thanks. Literally just this second got an email to say we're two weeks away from construction too! awesome would you want to move out here or at least...- jaywills

Has Moving to a Warm and Sunny Climate Made You Happier?
NOTABLE! MINDSETPersonally, I love being within an hour of perth. We moved to the countryside on a couple of acres of land, beach is half an hour away, Perth 45 mins, and I work all ove rso that doesn't really have a bearing although my office is closer to Perth. I've worked areas 2 hours or so from perth and...- jaywills

Weekly Progress: What will you get done this week?
GOLD! HOT! CHATLast week: *Tore it all down. I'm tired. I've kicked a lot of goals, the dream house build has started with a killer home office/workshop, good money coming in, family generally happy and comfortable. And at a point where I'm not sure I've ever felt as unenthused from a work/business...- jaywills

Has Moving to a Warm and Sunny Climate Made You Happier?
NOTABLE! MINDSETI'd take a slightly different approach - bring it up with her frequently, CONSTRUCTIVELY, SOBER. Because from the above it sounds like pinpointing the weather for a bad situation that like Simon says, is what you've built. Career choices, work / business choices, everything else, not just the...- jaywills
