Quit my Job. Starting My First eCommerce Business.

    EXECUTION
Finally got it to launch yesterday. Decided I was procrastinating by making stupid busywork (again). So my site is now live, and I started my Adwords campaign. Pretty sure I'm doing something wrong, but I'll figure it out. This is gonna be fun.

Rate my website - a Business Planning Service

    MARKETING
Did a quick look of your website. 1. Your frontpage has A LOT of text. Like...excessively. Might wanna cut down on that. 2. The tagline "we create good business plans for your success". That "good" makes it seem like you're mediocre. That tagline makes me not want to use you because why would I...

    INTRO
Good story man. Welcome to the forums. You definitely have a LOT more knowledge about everything than me, so I'm looking forward to seeing your posts!

Got my replacements in finally. Bad news: A huge number, roughly 20%, had defects that I couldn't overlook. However, because the defects are in random locations on a small fraction of the replacements, it seems it's a delivery problem. I'm going to try to figure it out. Weird news: So there's...

There's really nothing more you need other than to set up shop. I'm using Shopify, some are on WooCommerce, some sell directly on Amazon and Ebay. You just need to go for it now that you have the product and know the market now. Good luck!

Mens sana in corpore sano (aka FLF fitness progress thread)

    MINDSET
I'm in. Goals: Lift and run 3x a week. By next summer, I want to be normal weight (165-170lbs) and run 3 miles without getting tired. Nutritionally, I need to eat 3000 calories a day. Failure: Not making dem gainz. Penalty: If I don't meet my weight goal/cardio goal by next August, I'll buy a...

getting in the game, my first domain

    WEB/DIGITAL
That Allstarcharters is definitely a brand isn't it? You even asked if you should call up the companies with that name... IANAL, but that seems like it was bought in "bad faith". Good luck.

Have Any Of You Fastlaners Taught English In China?

I'd recommend going through a government program like EPIK or TaLK first for Korea, so you can get situated and stuff first. They allow you to meet other expat teachers and pay for programs like touring the country and stuff, on top of the salary + housing. Then if you want to stay and teach...

have some free time or know what I'm talking about? I'll pay you $100

    OFF-TOPIC
This is like playing Wheres Waldo, except the page is as large as a billboard. Sorry man. Nothing yet. All I could find was that ya'll have a building called The Bow and another called Telus Tower in Calgary though.

You and I have two totally different types of "fun", but hey...whatever floats your boat. Good luck with this.

I'm not really sure, but it seems like what you're doing is CyberSquatting...which is illegal in the US.

Hate to break it to you, but you essentially just bought a steering wheel cover for a car you don't even have yet. It's good that you want to take action, but for your next action step...look for a product or some place you can add value. Once you find it, maybe you can use your domain for...

By any chance, do you know when it ends for manufacturers? I'm hearing mixed things...I'm hearing 10/7 is the ending, while some are saying it ends today.

Yet another mistake (yay for mistakes and learning experiences): If you are using a Chinese manufacturer, KNOW WHEN THE CHINESE HOLIDAYS ARE. I thought I would get my replacements shipped out this week, but it is a major holiday in HK, like a week-long holiday. So I have to wait till next...

HOW DO YOU GET OVER FEARS

    EXECUTION
I might be weird but I've noticed a pattern about myself (this might be for you also): Whenever I fear something, there's always this small window of time where I think "F this...I'm gonna do it" before all the fear washes it over and I'm overcome by fear again. It's a fairly small window...

    IDEA
Yeah...that's not how it works around here... You need to come up with your own idea, based on the needs you see around you or on the internet. Good luck with the search. If you look around the forums, there are various ways people have suggested on how to find these needs.

What to do with a college fund with $15,000

Sorry about that. My mistake. Thought you were asking the "should I go to college?" But I still stand by that list of links. The "what should I major/get a degree in" has also been hit multiple times throughout those threads. Give them a shot.
