Building a Manufacturing Conglomerate Progress Thread

    EXECUTION
Another brutal week. My health recovered a lot, so I was looking forward to the amount of quality work I can put in. Nope, my employee who handles most manufacturing and order fulfillment got hospitalized or something and the other kept leaving early because of his kids, so I had to cover...

Yep! They have a corporate policy that forbids them from carrying any brand other than theirs. White label is how we've been doing it. I also suggested we make a version of the products that look completely different so we don't even share the same look. They've gone completely radio silent on...

Yeah they frequently undercut me with crazy sales. That's basically it. It's a small niche and they think they have the muscle to set the terms. They're very politc-y in that they're so overly polite and courteous but the actual asks are extremely sharky. Negotiating new deals with them gives...

    EXECUTION
I personally wouldn't want the headache, but they're the only player with physical stores. So from a business perspective I'd let them invest or do some sort of partnership; they have distribution I can't get anywhere else. My only concern is if they can make it profitably for me and risk...

Our new product line just went live and we already have an order before announcing it or running ads! My emotional brain is anxious but my rational brain knows there's no way this doesn't add 30-50k/month in revenue in the very first month ads go live for it. I sent an email a month ago to our...

Business: Yes, I lost $16k last month and will probably lose the same this month, but it's 12:14 on a Friday and I'm done with my to do list. I'm going to leave earlier and binge watch nonsense.

Haha that's a very entrepreneurial answer of you, teaching kids to start small businesses. Taking on a leadership role in a "startup" charity instead of starting my own is an option I hadn't considered, definitely worth looking into. I've accidentally volunteered my way into a leadership...

This community is extremely familiar with all the good books to build a good business. Does anybody have any recommendations on building charities? It's the fast lane equivalent for volunteering.

YouTube Channel: We made our first sale from our YouTube channel yesterday from the below video. It's been so expensive to develop this channel, from building the studio to the cost of labor, but I genuinely believe it's a crucial step to diversify our sales and add a new scalable sales channel...
