What do you guys think of Sara Blakely's Masterclass?

    HOT!
Is it just me, or does that seem extremely cheap?

    Smoking

    HEALTH
Quit now before it's too late!! Seriously, if you are that casual a smoker quitting will be relatively easy, if you don't, you will simply become a heavier smoker over time. The problem with smoking when stressed is that it links stress relief with smoking, you need to find something else to...

How can we promote this brand?

    MARKETING
Are you sure that this doesn't still infringe the trademark? I'm pretty sure if I started a drink called Cokes the Coca-Cola company would squash me like a fly. As far as promo is concerned, what about a pop up market stall. Do you have a farmer's market near you? Or perhaps you could do it as...

What Was/Is Your Favourite Coding Course?

I've been standing on a PHP precipice, and you've just walked past me and nudged me in the back! Trying to find a decent PHP course on Udemy, too much choice! What do you think I should go for? It seems the main choices are MySQL, MVP and object oriented, or am I misunderstanding it? If you...

[BENCH PRESS] Does this mess up your chest in the long run?

    HEALTH
Don't forget that a lot of these body builders are on human growth hormones mixed with steroids. A bench press (especially dumbbell) in the range of weight you will lift, is perfectly safe and fine as long as you follow the correct form and technique. Check out AthleanX chest workouts on Youtube.

What Was/Is Your Favourite Coding Course?

Lolz, I'm not. I realise it is, you said 90s in your post. However I still wanted to see how people learned code before internet tutorials, and Jon M made a point about reading which I thought was valid. I have other more up-to-date books, however I've had about a 90% success rate with books...

What Was/Is Your Favourite Coding Course?

I just found it on Amazon UK, I'm getting it for less than £3 :-) Can't wait.

What Was/Is Your Favourite Coding Course?

It's good, however a word of caution. That world moves very fast, and like I said in the OP, the course is not very well updated or supported by Stephen. However I felt it was worth it just for the React part of the course, building a working Youtube clone is pretty cool, and it will help you...

I loaned my friend the Millionaire Fastlane, this is how he returned it

    HOT!
I think I get it, it's because in certain social circles (mine included), openly admitting that you want to be a millionaire and actually trying to do something about it, is demonised. If I quote the book and then mention the title to certain friends, I notice a split second wince. A few...

What Was/Is Your Favourite Coding Course?

Obviously coding is a big subject here; should I learn to code? Which language should I learn? etc. etc. So I've been learning to code for some time now, and it seems I'm now just climbing out of the valley of disappointment and actually getting somewhere with it. I've tried a few languages...

Is a full-time commission sales job slow lane or fast lane?

When I was a salesperson I used to have a saying which I repeated when a perspective employer told me it was commission only. "No basic, no Roli." Why the hell should I commit to a 40 hour week and you're not even going to pay my bus fair? So you get all the upside, me sitting in a chair...

Dan Peña wants you to be successful ...

    HOT!
The 50 billion thing is for general public consumption I guess, however on the link in the OP it has the ridiculous 6 trillion claim. Which obviously acts as a filter, if you don't question it, he wants you as a sucker customer.

Patent Already Exists For My Idea?

    IDEA
Patents exist to protect inventors, so my guess is you'll have to go back to the drawing board. I didn't even realise this was possible. This may help the OP if his idea only uses a tiny bit of an existing utility patent, definitely worth looking in to if that's the case.

Dan Peña wants you to be successful ...

    HOT!
Lol, exactly. That means he's created 6000 billionaires, or perhaps 12,000 half billionaires. It's funny, I think people put these stupid claims in their scam marketing in order to filter out anyone with half a brain. "Yeah Sally, put $6 trillion, anyone with one gram of common sense will see...

Dan Peña wants you to be successful ...

    HOT!
Being an old timer myself, I can guarantee you nobody used "snowflake" in a derisory manner back in the day. That is a product of your standard, modern, alt right retard. Using that word in this way is like wearing a big orange cone on your head, marking you as a non thinking parrot, which is...

Disconnect between perceived value and real value.

You are creating a really low paid job around yourself. Listen to @Fox, and maybe even join his web school, like he says it's just as easy(hard) to sell a free website as a $2000 one, so you might as well go for the money. Good luck.

Dan Peña wants you to be successful ...

    HOT!
No you weren't, this screams of scam. Firstly this is a quote from that link: "BTW: I HAVE NOT HAD A FULL DAY QLA SEMINAR THIS CENTURY, OUTSIDE MY CASTLE HOME! BUT DO LIKE YOU HAVE ALL YOUR MISERABLE LIVES – PROCRASTINATE & DON’T ATTEND MEATHEADS & THEN COMPLAIN HOW YOU MISSED THE OPPORTUNITY...

    Whats the point of life?

    OFF-TOPIC
There is no intrinsic "higher" meaning per se. Of course we could all be part of a simulation in which future humans are running scenarios in order to find out the answer to some great question that means something to them. However it is us, you, me and everyone else on the planet that gives...

How does a 22-yr-old scientist find business insights? MBA? Meet-ups?

Well, when my fastlane boat comes in, perhaps I'll have the time then. At the moment I simply can't see the merit in investing so much time into what would be a hobby at best. I still keep as up to date as possible on interesting developments within the scientific world, and I guess I'm getting...

How does a 22-yr-old scientist find business insights? MBA? Meet-ups?

Wow, just wow. Every now and again I have deep regrets not listening to everyone and carrying on my education and interest in Physics and Chemistry, this is one of those times. Wowzer, please give us an update on her path, especially if it leads her to the space station.
