Totally get that. However you need to remember, you're trying to build a business whereby other people will be working for you, not build your freelance career. So I don't think the monotony matters as much. I hear you though. Keep searching! Sometimes, the answer to our problems is staring...

Have you experienced this same issue?

Go back and look at the Ts & Cs, my guess is they are perfectly within their rights to charge you. However they may well let you off and refund you if you state your case in a polite and speedy manner.

As I said before it's confidence that is your biggest barrier. What are your savings looking like? You don't have to tell me a number, I'm just wondering how long you can realistically live without a salary. If the answer to that question is 3-6 months, then I would start arranging to leave on...

How to start when disabled ?

You need to tune your mind to two things. 1. Finding problems - As you go about your daily business, start looking for problems that need solving. Start close to home, then move further afield. example: You have hearing and speech problems, so is there any particular problem that you come...

    Viral Marketing (RACISM)

    HOT! MARKETING
Yeah, because everyone knows that gay people are unpatriotic, with no sense of humour, and why would you want their money anyway? Best to alienate all sections of society apart from the ones you relate to, who needs their support anyway?

I imagine you sitting cross legged on the side of a mountain somewhere, to the sound of wooden pipes, whilst saying this  #Confucius

    Viral Marketing (RACISM)

    HOT! MARKETING
Hmm, if you are talking about out and out racism, then sure, you'll probably get sales from other racists. However if you're talking about poking fun at a harmless stereotype about a group that DO NOT usually experience racism, then you've got a chance I suppose. For instance a joke around...

Why Amazon Sucks: The Master Thread

    HOT!
Short answer, yes. Look at @biophase's response to this thread. He got $21k sales in 5 weeks, which he himself (a very experienced seller) would not have got on his own website. The long answer is, it depends on your product, margins, search volumes, and how much you pay Amazon to promote your...

Why Amazon Sucks: The Master Thread

    HOT!
Okay, so you've just proved the 80/20 rule works with Amazon. 20% of sellers make 80% of the profits, this is true of anywhere, doesn't mean a new seller shouldn't at least try Amazon out.

Got DESTROYED On Shark Tank! What Now?

    HOT!
The above quotes are spot on. Unless you live in a small village, whereby everyone has watched that episode, it is very doubtful that you will be recognised. There are Youtube personalities out there with millions of hits per video, and they could walk past you or I without so much as a...

Got DESTROYED On Shark Tank! What Now?

    HOT!
I don't reckon this is the OP, this guy got investment, and he hardly got torn a new one. My guess it's this one below, filmed much longer ago, seeing as James Caan is still in it. I wouldn't worry about it anyway, lots of people get torn a new one in the Den. Chill and move on. View...

Learning in Native Language or English?

Unless you're trying to learn English, I don't see the benefit of not reading in your native language. I'm sure you'll gain more meaning from it if you switch back to your own tongue. Out of interest, what is your native language?

Move Back in with Parents and Save $$$ or Stay Independent and Gain Opportunities?

    PEOPLE
I've read a few answers, and a few of your responses on this thread, and all in all, I think you should move back and save some money. Your parents sound cool, and maybe after being in the city for awhile has rubbed off on you; who knows? Maybe when you get back, you'll find that you've...

    Patent or not

Really? This is news to me... I guess get a Gebrauchsmuster then. Try and study as much of the law surrounding this as possible in order to save fees.

    Patent or not

Build it. Sell it. Protect it. People only copy what is successful. A patent lawyer will always try to persuade you to get a patent.

    Non-Business Book Recommendation Thread

    HOT!
Lolz, we are all so keyed in on this forum, that even when you ask for non business/non entrepreneurship books, you still get a load of business and entrepreneurship recommendations :-). If you like sci-fi pretty much anything by Iain M. Banks is good. My faves are: The Use Of Weapons The...

How is coding a fast lane venture?

    SIDE HUSTLE WEB DESIGN
Imagine you have an idea to build a digital widget that's never been seen before. Now imagine you are at a slowlane job with no savings. You learn to code, you build your app, you sell your app, you become rich. Obviously that's the edited version, but that's why people try and learn to code...

Starting A Video Marketing Company .

    MARKETING
Wow. That's really cool, you have exactly the right experience to go it alone, and this post has illustrated to me that you have the right mindset as well. If there is anything lacking, I'd guess it's confidence, you have a nice security blanket of regular income, and creative output, so the...
