    GOLD! HOT! MINDSET
100% I don't know how people can spend their entire lives living in the same place without ever living somewhere else. Its amazing how being somewhere new opens your mind up to new possibilities and opportunities, and gives you that feeling of being able to reinvent certain parts of yourself.

Do You Live in a Big City, a Town, or in the Countryside?

    OFF-TOPIC
By action I don't mean being in crowds or attending crowded events, but being in a location where there's tons of fun things to do close by and there's always something going on. Specifically, things like having multiple restaurants, a brewery and convenience store all on the first floor of my...

Do You Live in a Big City, a Town, or in the Countryside?

    OFF-TOPIC
Currently live in a small city in CT. I'm currently here because its close to family, especially my baby nieces and nephews. Also nice being close to large cities and airports, but also close enough to mountains of I go a couple hours north. I lived in a large city in Asia for 2 years and...

Having Major Self Doubt About Viability

    IDEA
I would just file a provisional patent application and move ahead. It always possible someone will copy your idea, even with a published utility patent, but you can at least write "patent pending" once you submit the provisional application which would hopefully deter most people. I did this...

My days with discipline in korea, And it`s process from past

    INTRO
Yeah, we absolutely loved our time in Korea and really didn't want to leave. We left because of some family and job related circumstances so it kinda sucked. I live in the northeast United States now, which is where I lived before moving to Korea. I've been back 2 years now and I still think...

My days with discipline in korea, And it`s process from past

    INTRO
Hey man, welcome! That's an intense story. I lived in Korea from 2018 to 2020 and really saw the negative impact that coming from a low income family has on kids. I also experienced the culture of how everyone wants to fit in and not step out of societal norms. The entrepreneur path didn't...

No way, haha. I wish I had found this forum back then. Wasted a lot of time on there. Nevermind, it's a dumb joke from a lifting forum. They were most definitely on some special "supplements" though haha. I'm not opposed paying experts to gain valuable info, just mostly hesitant when it...

I was very into that whole realm when zyzz died and it was pretty crazy hearing what happened. I never really thought about it, but he kind of was an influencer before it was an actual thing. Greg Plitt's death was a shock too and very sad. Also...are you aware?

Are you on that routine currently? What do you think of it compared to other popular routines? Sounds interesting but I can't justify paying for a workout routine haha. I'm currently doing a 5 day PPL routine. I usually did 3 or 4 days a week in the past, but I'm really loving the higher...

How many of you play video games?

    HOT! OFF-TOPIC
I play Warzone once and a while when friends are online. Great way to relax and have some laughs when we can't hang out in person. That's pretty much it these days except for when I fly somewhere I'll bring my old Gameboy color and play Pokemon haha. Some of my favorite memories from high...

Building and prototyping products for a few hundred bucks

    SOURCING
Subbed. Interested to see how this turns out. Someone mentioned McMaster, and I don't know what standard parts you need, but Misumi is another good place to look. A lot of time's they're cheaper and have some different options. Also, I don't know why you would fly to Asia for months to...

Has anyone else come to terms with the fact that they really hate sitting in front of a computer and how it's going to affect your business/Fastlane?

    QUESTION
I've gone through some struggles with this as well. I'm on the computer a lot for my day job, and at a certain point it gets to me. I have trouble sitting still as it is, and after 7 or 8 hours on the computer I'm sore and tight and my eyes hurt and I just want to move around. A couple...

Needs to be said... sell the DAMN motorcycle.

    HOT! RANT
I have a street legal dirtbike. Riding off road is definitely much safer than on road. There are obviously things always out of your control, but for the most part with off road riding you can decide how much risk you want to take by choosing what trails to ride and how hard you want to push...

How creative are you? Take this test and find out...

    HOT!
Your score is 92.0, higher than 98.19% of the people who have completed this task Don't really know how well creativity can be quantified, but it's definitely interesting. Even in the description it says this measures a small, specific portion of creativity. Gonna send this to my wife and...

2024/25 State Tax Rankings... Time for You to Move?

    HOT! TAXES | REGS
That feel when you're #47. Sucks cause all my family is here and I don't want to move out of New England. Might be buying my father in law's New Hampshire house in the next couple years and seeing this just gives me more incentive.

This is my '74 VW Beetle. Rebuilt it from the ground up and upgraded some components as well. It's fun as hell to drive, and I'm planning to put in a more powerful engine soon, which should make it even more fun! (Before pic)

    Van Trend (RV vagabonding, travel)

    OFF-TOPIC
Hey guys, just an update on the van. Finished up my trip in September and sold the van earlier this month for an $8k profit. Not bad considering making money wasn't the goal. I got a ton of interest when I listed it online and sold it to the first person who contacted me. I also received a...

Learn any language while on the toilet (even if your IQ is lower than a chimps)

    MINDSET
Great post! What languages have you learned so far? I lived in Korea for 2 years and learned a bit (definitely could have learned much more if I put in the effort). Moved back to the US last year and I've recently been studying Korean again, essentially just enough not to lose what I already...

Big Passive Income Opportunities in Food/Farming?

    SIDE HUSTLE
This is really cool. I'm interested to know more about how the vision system identifies the weeds. That's probably where most of the technology lies since everything else seems to be fairly straightforward. I wonder what other farming tasks could be automated like this. Looks like a lot of...
