    I wouldn't touch TM merchandise but plenty do. Why spend all that time building a business and watch it fall? Stick to non-TM, generic stuff. There's plenty of profit and no lawyer on your back.

    That's FB right now. I have campaigns running on Adwords too. FB is inconsistent at the the moment so I'm fluctuating between $600-$1000/day. I had a few weeks at $400/day because ROI was really low but it's getting better. I like to spend at least $50 on new ads for new niches.

    I test all variations with new ads. That's WC, CTWs and PPEs then scale the winners and kill the losers. There's no exact science for me. I let the numbers decide.

    See point #6 on the OP. I was heavily reliant on FB and still am so now I'm in the process of diversifying into Adwords and email marketing. The strategy for each isn't the same. I can sell some products off FB like hotcakes but there's zero demand for it on Adwords. That's just the way it is...
