The TikTok Chat Thread
MARKETING CHATI've seen quite a few TikToks where people record what's happening on the screen using their phone rather than using screen recording software and getting a "proper" recording. Do these phone recordings go down better on TikTok, even with the lower quality? I'm trying to remember if I see that...- Andy Black

The Skool Chat Thread
CHATThis isn't my thread. It's a thread for us to chat about Skool, the community platform. Has anyone ran a Skool community for a while? There's a few threads asking about Skool but they're a bit old and didn't get many replies. Skool seems well known now, and I'm in a couple of paid Skool...- Andy Black

Free Google Ads review for local services
MARKETINGOh, and you guys should follow my naming convention. Like, how neat and self-explanatory is this when you know what it means: IP=US/Miami {PLUMBING SERVICES} IP=US {PLUMBING SERVICES / Miami} IP= is the location of the IP address of the searcher. It might not be quite where they're...- Andy Black

MARKETING@savefox @piano @CamRo9 ... great talking to you all yesterday. I must admit it's all a bit blurry what I spoke to for each of you. My learnings: Stop trying to do this in 15 minutes Andy. It ain't happening. I've changed the meeting slot to 30 mins but give yourself an hour as we'll likely...- Andy Black

Website Roasting - Post Your Website Here for Feedback / Ask Your Questions
MARKETINGTip: The platform you built your website with doesn't have a conversion rate. Your visitors are converting into buyers at 3.07%. If you sent people looking for a plumber to your website then that conversion rate would likely be 0%. So now it's about getting the right visitors to the right...- Andy Black

HOT! CHATAnyone know how the GIF from this LinkedIn post could be created? I'm on about the little circle looping round the top box. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/magalidereu_5-months-ago-i-gutted-every-post-framework-activity-7457373567568125953-_7Vp- Andy Black

The TikTok Chat Thread
MARKETING CHATI've not run LinkedIn Ads. I may get around to doing them at some point. What puts me off is the high CPCs so you don't learn fast with a small budget, and I like learning fast with small budgets. If I had a post that did really well on LinkedIn (at attracting ideal clients and generating...- Andy Black

The TikTok Chat Thread
MARKETING CHATI'm literally just going to use TikTok to test videos. I don't believe we can overpost videos on TikTok, and I also believe we can delete videos and upload amended ones without TikTok penalising us. It sounds like a great testing platform to me, and a way to improve my videos quickly. I'm...- Andy Black

How search is evolving with AI
MARKETINGThe old-school Google Ads paid search strategies still work, because people still search for "<service> <location>" or "<service> near me". But more people are chatting to AI now and what they input is getting longer and more conversational (especially when using speech-to-text). All the...- Andy Black

NOTABLE! HOT! CHATCan you capture your presentations and add them somehow to an AI that can be made available to people as on-demand mentoring? I think I need to focus first before scaling. NOTABLE! HOT! CHATI'm not so happy with the change to LinkedIn. Posting Google Ads content just reminded them I was still around, and that...- Andy Black
