HOT! CHATI'm pretty good at looking back on previous work experience and analysing what skills I took from it. The latest skill I've developed wasn't one i was expecting from a job in construction. Firing useless lazy dead weight and sleeping like a baby.- MattR82

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATI love this. No need to join a trade that requires 4 years and licensing/regulation. Another thing I like about this is the same as my friends TV wall mounting biz. People are stoked when the job is finished and they pay. Much happier clients than my Dad had as an electrician giving them a...- MattR82

Quit Alcohol. Try it.
MINDSETLittle bit off topic, but a guy that just started work with me said that a few years ago he had a mother energy drink one morning before an afternoon pre employment medical. His blood pressure (which was normally perfect) was bonkers and was told even the next day probably wouldn't be any good...- MattR82

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATAnyone ever used a waist belt fan? I wear a reasonably loose fitting button up long sleeve workshirt so I think it will work OK. There's actually a specific job im thinking of where i am slightly bent forward with my shirt dangling away in front of me that this would be perfect for. The...- MattR82

Scumbag Marketing... Share Yours...
MARKETINGI don't have a screenshot but had something similar lately when trying to buy a heavy duty retractable key lanyard. Went to take up their offer of 10% off for new customers. Loaded up my contact info and joined, but not informed until the very end that the discount only works if the order is...- MattR82

HOT! CHATYeah you are right. I am definitely biased by living with a pair of hunting dogs for so many years. When I think back to my German shepherd I had as a kid, I can't really see him biting to protect me. I still think a dog is a great early warning system at the very least though.- MattR82

HOT! CHATHa, that's funny, the table was there when the house was bought and my friend went full lazy bachelor mode and just offered them a few thousand to leave all the living room furniture behind  The giant cage made out of fencing was for when they BOTH had cruciant ligament surgery...- MattR82

HOT! CHATReally?! That does surprise me. Maybe I was just biased because of these 2 dogs. Their breed is for pig hunting and no one ever stepped onto the driveway without everybody instantly knowing. They are actually quite dangerous and protective so there was a lot of training, but highly teachable...- MattR82
