Foundations, the trigger, reaching olympus
EXECUTIONI have no 'idea' right now. I've had a few attempts in this thread and they died, because I rushed in with the first ideas I thought of instead of things that can be done with my current skills and some polishing. The latest post is just my morning practice and my march to a beginning on solid...- Siddhartha

What's your Lambo? What's your WHY or PURPOSE?
NOTABLE! CHATI don't have any single high-ticket Item I'm working for. I work the way I do to achieve 2 things singlehandedly worth more than an aircraft carrier filled with lambos and staffed with young 20-something models armed with champagne and an adventurous personality. Freedom and Health. The...- Siddhartha

Foundations, the trigger, reaching olympus
EXECUTIONI'm still alive, and still here. I've been crunching through books as always and running on JA's daily practice. I had an interesting idea pop up in my lists I made this morning that seems to provide good skews in it's area and seems to have quite a bit of potential magnitude. The skews? Form...- Siddhartha

What book are you reading? Right now. Post up!
NOTABLE! HOT! BOOKS CHATI had an amazing time reading his second biography; but it left me hungry to know what kind of hustles and deals he did when he was young to build his empire. I'm about 140 pages in, wholly lost in the book; seeing a man do between 15-22 what I hadn't even contemplated until I was 22. There is...- Siddhartha

Book #5: Vote for Next Book Discussion
VOTE NOW!I read a good chunk of the power of now, it had some powerful mindfulness techniques for promoting a sense of well-being; but I felt like it could also blunt my aspiration and motiviation to make something of myself. Holographic universe was also interesting but didn't hold up too well to the...- Siddhartha

Getting paid $21k for a single page website
I saw this on hacker news yesterday; a lot of the comments were in agreement bout how easy it is to get into overruns. If anything, I used that as a lesson about control, and quick/accurate delegation to contractors should the need ever arise. It's not good to helicopter but if there's a...- Siddhartha

What made you pull the trigger and start your first business?
I came to find that I severely disliked waking up and/or existing on workdays; ergo I jumped into business/entrepreneurship podcasts and started brainstorming how I could find and provide value in more productive ways.- Siddhartha

What do you do when you have no ideas
HOT! IDEANecro'ing this thread; James Altucher's daily practice has really helped me; sitting with my black book in front of me with free license to put down anything that would improve anyone's life by even a modicum until I hit at least 10 ideas before the pen has to go down really gets the juices...- Siddhartha

What book are you reading? Right now. Post up!
NOTABLE! HOT! BOOKS CHATOver the year or two I've read or listenened to entrepreneur/success materials, I've been getting beat on the head with the "early to rise, early to success" principle; From Scott Adams and the 4am drawing sessions to Ferris/Robbins and their morning priming. I'm hoping and planning on using...- Siddhartha

How many action fakes can the fastlane come up with??
GOLD! HOT! CHATMore of something I did than an imagined excuse but: I cleaned for 3 hours, my place is looking pretty dope now but I also burnt 3 hours as an action fake. I'll go ahead and interpret it in a Petersonian way and say it reduced chaos and sets me up for later success. Sent from my Nokia 6.1 using...- Siddhartha

Dead-End Sh*t Jobs ... Yours?
NOTABLE!Currently a cross between low-level IT gopher and bureaucratic punching bag, paid better and less stress than my old gig at least. I do nothing that contributes to anything meaningful almost everyday and have to leave 90 minutes before my shift in the mornings to get to work and avoid bumper to...- Siddhartha

What is your personality? Find it out with a quick test!
NOTABLE! MINDSETI've been stuck as an ENTP for 5 years after declaring I'd be one after testing as an INTJ throughout highschool. I highly expected to test ENTJ about 2 weeks ago considering how much more social, frenetic and initiative-taking I've become in the past year, but no, I'm still an ENTP-T . It's...- Siddhartha

What book are you reading? Right now. Post up!
NOTABLE! HOT! BOOKS CHATListening to this again, because having MJ tell me I'm a wantrepreneur scrub and how to build something that people want and how to make sure it provides freedom for a lifetime is always a good commuting theme. I like that I'm internalizing more TUNEF and productocracy principles but, just like...- Siddhartha

Getting on the Court and Taking Action
EXECUTIONThis is real planning and execution; clear cut with no holds barred and little to no fear. You mentioned starting with lex's copywriting thread; I assume you lept into action and clawed open a revenue stream within those first 15 days? What was your experience going into that field like?
