    the Dark Side... Beginners beware.

Thanks for posting the article Z. It's the exact reason why I think everyone should create some kind of "safety net" of income, regardless of how huge their business income may be. For me personally, it's rental property, but I know not everybody wants to fix toilets etc. I don't blame them...

    My Take on Self-Publishing

    PUBLISHING
GiroudJD, Does the fact that there are literally pages and pages of free kindle erotica titles on Amazon concern you at all? Does that hurt your earnings from your erotica content? I originally thought that would be a profitable niche to get started and I may be missing something here, but...

    My Take on Self-Publishing

    PUBLISHING
If you don't mind sharing, what sources did you pull from in the beginning when you decided to embark on self-pubbing? How did you develop your system? Was it a book or info-product that gave you the idea for the framework? What inspired you to get involved in authoring/publishing?

What book are you reading? Right now. Post up!

    NOTABLE! HOT! BOOKS CHAT
I read that one. It's great to think that you could in theory, become world class at almost anything with enough work - like 10 to 20 years of focused dedicated "practice".

I'm reading that one now too, so far it's great. Also reading A.P.E. from Guy Kawasaki and James Altucher's "Choose Yourself", both also good reads so far. I like to keep a few going at the same time.

    Lynda.com to study fastlane skills?

Right, good point on that! I guess what I'm doing at the moment is really just getting an understanding of how things are created, and from there I can decide what to hire out and what I will be doing myself. Having focused the last 15 or so years developing my skills to build up a rental...

2013 Year in Review: How'd you do?

    OFF-TOPIC
2013 was a very positive and productive year for me. We added another rental house to our housing business and another several thousand per year in rental income from it. I also made some key decisions about the future for my wife and I that resulted in me finding TMF book and this forum -...
