All I have is my idea! Where should I go from here?

    IDEA
No problem at all, just a simple mis-understanding. I probably did a poor job of explaining it to begin with if it was mis-understood. All the best.

All I have is my idea! Where should I go from here?

    IDEA
I understand you're confused and took my post out of context, that's why I clarified to help you understand. It shows that you don't yet understand "process". For example: it's kinda like looking for a $5k per week "event" by Christmas of this year without really creating $5k per week in value...

Ask me anything about eCommerce (2012)

    GOLD!
It's a product with a gas powered engine - but I actually did find a supplier with EPA certs after much digging around. I invested in a small shipment which I recieved last week and threw the item up on Craigslist just to see if I'd get a response. Well, I'm getting a hell of a response and...

All I have is my idea! Where should I go from here?

    IDEA
I was referring to already successfully completed projects in that post - so how could it be spinning my wheels? It has succeeded because I took massive action and attacked it from all available angles when I felt like I was "stuck", and coming up with a new strategy midstream. You're totally...

All I have is my idea! Where should I go from here?

    IDEA
No not really, because there are times when the "first" or "best next" step isn't clear, but there's plenty to do and it's better to do something and get momentum than do nothing at all.

Ask me anything about eCommerce (2012)

    GOLD!
Bio, I'm doing my legwork trying to find a good product to source from China. Well, I found something - and I see it being sold successfully on ebay and amazon, as well as ecommerce sites with addresses here in the States. The problem is that it apparently doesn't meet EPA certifications...

    The Throwaway_Writer

    PUBLISHING
@AubreyRose If you were starting from scratch today would you do anything differently than what was advised by Throwaway Writer? I'm working on a couple different titles right now, but being new to writing - and having a primary business to take up my time/focus, I must admit it's not moving...

    The Throwaway_Writer

    PUBLISHING
If you scroll to the bottom of Tracey's post and read the comments, it looks like she published about 20 books and then gave up on it due to lack of sales. I would think if she had 20 titles out there and followed all of the criteria listed (cover, title, desc, etc) that she would have had...

Action Takers - What Are You Up To (Again)

    EXECUTION
My main focus currently is looking for the next rental property. I consider it our "slowlane" freedom and wealthbuilder cuz the rental income will float us but the true wealth yeild will take time. My wife and I will be financially independent within +/- 2 years at the rate we're going from...

    Sales

    HOT!
I worked in home improvement sales about 4 years ago and it was the best money I ever made as a wage slave. The top guy in the company was making $30 - $40,000 per month and he had his act together, he had been in sales for over 12 years at that point. I also worked in the mortgage industry...

Bio, Is learning SEO the same these days with the Panda/Penguin changes? Do you still recommend learning it for ecommerce? Things change so damn fast these days!

All I have is my idea! Where should I go from here?

    IDEA
That is so true. I like to think of it as "dumbing down", because the smarter we try to be, the less work gets done sometimes. You can't think your way out of it - it just has to be executed. I've embraced that concept when working on large renovation projects with the rentals. My self-talk...

PISSED off that I was fed the slowlane LIES

    SLOWLANE
Welcome to the world we're livin' in! Glad to hear that the illusion is shattered, because things will never be the same now that you can "see" more clearly. Good for you.

Looking for a mentor! (will work for free)

@zend***phin Any particular sources that you'd recommend to research media buys and traffic? I'll certainly be looking on my own (googling) but if you had somewhere that you'd consider a good starting point for a newb, I wouldn't turn it down.

    GOLD! MINDSET
LOL! It's T-shirt time! Seriously though, your posts are profound and they make me want Oreo ice cream. Good thing I also train hard in the gym to help balance things like that. I'm going to hunt for your other threads and do some homework, I need to absorb some of your smarts. There's...

    Anybody listen to AudioBooks?

    BOOKS
Absolutely. When driving especially, but also if I'm involved in a long, grueling renovation project on a house, I'll put a bunch on my MP3 player and just listen all day while I'm working. The funniest thing I've noticed with that, is that negative self talk can't get going while I'm...
