[AMA] Importing & wholesaling for resale on eBay.

    GOLD! SOURCING
It's tough finding great and profitable items from good suppliers! Ok....just had to vent that out. Now I feel better! Just got a quote on what I thought is an awesome product. Calculated cost + shipping + escrow fee, then went on Ebay to compare. I can get it on Ebay from a U.S. seller...

Being rich vs being upper class

One of the Rothschilds said it best: Money to get power - Power to protect money. They're forever intertwined and it does seem that money comes first. Old money started somewhere in the past and created the legacy that your fellow students enjoyed.

Yes I did and the sales basically dried up. Maybe I didn't wait long enough though? I waited a few days and when nothing was really happening I lowered the price again to the point where I'm getting my money back plus just a little. They're 2 small ticket items to begin with and it seems by...

Lol! Yea really, if you haven't made it by 22 life must surely be a waste!! Dude just messing with you - but you gotta expect a little abuse for a comment like that! You know there are people on this forum much older than you (..uh like me) and at 22 you have enough time to get your head on...

Yea I'm going through that myself at the moment. I'm selling like a madman but not making any profit! Well, at least not enough to re-order these couple of products. Definitely learning about Ebay's fees and shipping costs though. And another benefit is growing my feedback rating. I can't...

Just my own personal opinion here - but if the margins are decent and it takes a few months...is that really a bad thing? Let's just say you make.....uh...... 50% (pulling a # out of thin air) profit on your item within 3 or 4 months. That's a 50% return on your money in less then half a year...

Hey Ecomm, I'm loving your thread, thanks for doing it. It's kinda funny because to be completely honest, I used to think of ebay as kind of a joke, until recently understanding that many people are making serious incomes selling on it! I laughed when I realized how wrong I was! I read...

Hey Ecom, This is a fantastic post, thanks for all the great tips so far! I recently have gotten started importing and although I'm not selling on ebay yet, I am profitable by selling locally through craigslist and word of mouth. My original plan was to sell the product on ebay but it turned...

That's interesting but that's not really where I'm coming from. Let me clarify a little: Let's say I just spent the last few weeks from dawn till dusk busting my butt on my thriving business. I'm completely wiped out from doing what needs to be done in the world to move my goals forward...

That's what I'm sayin' - if you spend a couple hours watching something like that you're definitely not wasting time. That's a mini education right there! I have seen most of that series and it is excellent. I'm not really saying that we should all make it a point to schedule in couch time...

Yes I did set them both up but haven't used yet. That's reassuring though because shipping costs seem to be the only thing stopping the idea of selling through my own store. I wonder what kind of volumer would start to lower costs.... I'll call them again and try to get someone higher up...
