    I've had enough

I bought these exactly a year ago: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BFS5136/?tag=tff-amazonparser-20 They've been abused to hell and back and the sound quality rivals $50 sets. Dropped on concrete, flung across the room, stepped on. Still works just like day 1. They were $6 at the time...

No, my example was anecdotal. Sorry it was late at night lol. That was a terrible sentence on my part. As Chris mentioned, it's the sociopaths that will implement these tricks, whether they've taken a class or not. Though, I have met a disproportionate amount of Psych graduates that are just...

WARNING ! Everything you learned in school about writing is wrong

Look man. You need to stretch out that 1.5 page paper to 2. The double spacing and doubling the period size is not sufficiently providing enough material to meet the professors strict criteria. What's annoying is that it's easier to write out these convoluted sentences than a simple one. Do...

This is anecdotal, but what's interesting is that it feels like a fear of rejection, not danger. Similar fight or flight response I would say, but it just feels different. What if when I do X, it won't turn out right. It's not even a question, b/c consciously you can reason the answer. Worst...

Or the rural south east US lol My anecdotal evidence is the opposite. Had a friend who was take out halfway through middle school. He stagnated afterwards and withdrew from a lot of people. Granted, as you alluded, their internet connectivity is a lot more evolved today. The rest of us went...

So if he wrote a book titled, The Perfect Kick, you'd dismiss it because he's not on the field himself?

Have you seen how some football coaches, can't play football? Yet they can lead a team to victory. (I'm stretching the example, but its for illustration purposes.) Totally agree, Tai Lopes has some decent advice. But nowhere close to what Hill gave us. I'd wager Tai practices more of what he...

What's the difference between Slackers and Go Getters? The answer may have to do w/ brain chemistry.

Ah there it is. Because no PhD or formal certification, and no complicated language, you don't believe anyone will get any use out of surface-level musings. (Yes it is just skimming the surface, and I'm not sure how many are confused about that. But the way I'm reading it, you seem to be straw...

Amen lol Basically describes me and a few of my close friends to the T. Minus the homeschooling, which I don't wholly agree with, but understand. Being exposed to a wide range of people physically is important for developing social skills, as well as differing opinions. Even if they are wrong...

I'd buy it. (ok maybe not, but only b/c its a curiosity, and not my main pursuit. Maybe an audiobook I would.) The way he presents the info, however dumbed down, makes it accessible to the rest of us. I appreciate what he's sharing, and helped provide a few keywords I could go down the rabbit...

HO LEE. FKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK This explains so much Why people like the process and not the end goal. It explains, why I sometimes get depressed (using that term loosely) after achieving some goals. Hence, why it's important to set multiple, short, med, and long term ones. Or why other people...

I don't think I'm understanding how dopamine works. I thought it was, you do X (accomplish a goal) and get rewarded with dopamine. From the above, giving someone dopamine, you increase their motivation...to go out and do stuff? Or is there a middle ground where both are right?

Something doesn't add up. (Nevermind, it's a Gizmodo article, which hasn't been reputable in years.) A few points from the book which I found extremely helpful: 1. Set goals, set a date, set a number, create a plan, write it down. 2. You have to believe you can succeed. Imagine rock climbing a...

Partially. Tell someone they're stupid for long enough, and they'll believe it. "Millennials are killing (insert any industry here)" "It's millennial that are ruining the economy." Couple that with participation trophies, and telling people to accept themselves for who they are and they'll...

How To Sell To Smart People?

Read Spin Selling. There's just as much emotion in B2B as in B2C. The difference is in the tactics you use. For example, tell a CEO you only have 3 widgets left, so he should buy before they're all gone, and he'll laugh you out of the room. (You can slip this in from time to time, if they're...
