Is it possible to become a Fastlane musician?

    HOT! MINDSET
Oh man - this is a very difficult topic to reply to. I'll do my best, but please don't take my words (or anyone else's) as gospel. First, you're 18. You're very young - and you have a lot of TIME. I will always encourage you to follow your DREAMS, even it if it's not necessarily business or...

Bought a huge house with a 3 car garage and a pool!

    GOLD! MINDSET
So...you're bragging about your Pool and 3 Car garage in Jersey, except you can't pay the bills? Have you thought about selling the house and renting, and putting the rest of the money into a business?

Got 15k to start, don't know where to start

I don't want to derail the original poster's thread - but I can't make your life decisions for you. If you make a new thread on this topic and describe your situation in detail, I'm happy to reply.

Got 15k to start, don't know where to start

If you are doing well in the import/export business, what makes you want to look for something ELSE to do? You need to FOCUS. If it's one thing I've learned from very successful people, is not only did they have monumental drive, but they had a LASER focus on ONE thing. To me, it sounds...

Learning From Game of Thrones on HBO

    PEOPLE
This. Time > money, but without money you're a slave to a job and that 9-5. To me, even if I made $100m but I worked 100 hours a week until 65, it wouldn't be worth it. And yes, I binge watched GOT for the last 2 weeks as I just discovered the show. :P

    Modafinil (Modalert)

    MINDSET
I've taken it - and it just makes me stay up. No other effects. I wouldn't expect anything amazing out of it other than being alert / awake. As someone else said, it's not adderal.

    Lynda.com: $20k To $70m A Year

    EXECUTION
Wow - I bought one of her books on photoshop YEARS ago, and occasionally I'd see her name pop up here and there. I assumed she was doing well, but I didn't know she was doing THAT well. I bet she'd never imagined she'd be a billionaire. Awesome. thanks for sharing.

    Insight into digital nomads

    HOT! MINDSET
Depends on your budget. I prefer staying in an apartment or Air BNB - and I'm also traveling with 2 friends. We have a large work area here, which is nice. Staying in a hostel is a little more challenging but much cheaper. I can echo what @biophase has said - it's tough to be in a routine...

    Insight into digital nomads

    HOT! MINDSET
I've just started traveling, thanks in part to @GlobalWealth and some other friends. It has been nothing short of amazing. I'm actually traveling with 2 buddies, so you definitely can have travel buddies and life long friendships. Not to mention, I can see my friends once a year and it would...

Taking multi-million dollar jewelry business to the next level

I skimmed your first post - congrats on the sales and success so far. I'd suggest building your commerce site on something other than wordpress. For your sort of volume, I'm guessing there are a couple of better commerce solutions. You can always install Wordpress in a subdomain and run it...

What are your MUST WATCH entrepreneur or business movies?

    HOT! CHAT
I think there's a thread about this already, but: The Social Network - I used to put this on when i was working on my first business for motivation. Probably have "watched" it 30 times. Middle Men - loved this one I just wanted the Imitation Game, which isn't technically about business, but...

Struggling with ADHD? Triple Your Productivity in 30 Days!

    MINDSET AMA
Have you used prescribed medication for ADD/ADHD (adderal, etc.)? How did you overcome your ADD/ADHD and still become productive? For me, I feel like I'm definitely ADD, and I do struggle with it at times. However, I can have periods of extreme focus on one thing. I tend to procrastinate on...

    Dating & Girlfriend

    HOT! PEOPLE
@ChickenHawk and @IceCreamKid both made very good points - especially about where you're meeting women. How many women have you actually met? How hard have you really tried? You will most likely need meet 200+ women (or more) to actually find the ONE you want to be with. What are you on...

    Don't Learn to Code?!!

    HOT!
This question comes up ALL the time. The answer is that its contextual. What's right for one person may not be right for another. I will most likely never learn to code and it won't limit the amount of money I can make. That's MY situation.

Concealed Carry - What do you carry?

    OFF-TOPIC
Yah it is a little big. I'd like to pick up an EMP again - single stack 9mm in a small 1911 frame. Was a dream to carry. My first one started having problems though.
