Passive Monthly / Quarterly Income: My Favorite Money System Assets...

    GOLD! INVESTING
Passive income is addictive. My Amazon FBA store has recently become cash flow positive and it's netting ~ $500/mo for doing nothing. It takes some work at the beginning, but after you find your system, it's just a cash printer.

Just launched my first product on Amazon FBA

    EXECUTION
Yesterday I checked my numbers and I was pleasantly surprised. I was a bit disengaged, but when I compared it to real estate, I realized I have a strong asset that outperforms any rental apartment by a mile — and with a fraction of the time required. While I don't make enough to cover my...

Just launched my first product on Amazon FBA

    EXECUTION
If the costs are manageable sourcing from US suppliers, then go ahead, but I wouldn't expect just one product to be enough. You will need more than one to make a substantial profit, and with tariffs running wild, the options for international trade are more limited.

Just launched my first product on Amazon FBA

    EXECUTION
I'm getting some traction, but nowhere close to covering my personal expenses. Trump doesn't make it easy with the tariffs either. My product gives me good margins and I don't spend a lot on ads, but the sales volume is pretty low. If I had to start again, I would focus on building a SaaS...

First ideas - am I making any sense?

    IDEA FEEDBACK
If we look at the CENTs framework, ideas 1, 4 and 5 have the best potential to become your fastlane. However, you have to do some market research to objectively assess the odds of making it with any of them. Writing fiction is extremely competitive and it's not something I would start to get...

Just launched my first product on Amazon FBA

    EXECUTION
Thank you! I’m from Spain, but I live in sunny Lisbon. I did some keyword research with Jungle Scout and saw that it had a moderate demand with low competition. I expect the niche to grow in the future too, so overall it seemed like a good opportunity. I’ll keep you posted in here!

Just launched my first product on Amazon FBA

    EXECUTION
Thanks for pointing that out! I have my own website, though it redirects customers to my Amazon listing. It’s not about permission, but more of a strategic move. Investing time and money on advertising a listing that doesn’t have any rating or reviews is probably wasting resources. Amazon...

Just launched my first product on Amazon FBA

    EXECUTION
Last week I launched my first PL product on Amazon FBA. Now I’m waiting for my first Vine reviews to arrive before I start running PPC campaigns. I started talking with suppliers in May and I'm a bit disappointed I couldn't make it on time for Christmas. I have no reviews and my stock isn't...

What tool(s) do you use to build your newsletters?

    SAAS / APPS
I’ve been using Substack for more than one year and I love how fast you can grow on it. But it’s slowly becoming more of a social media, which I don’t like. For email marketing, Mailerlite is probably the best option.

Lacey Act declaration: Importing wood products into the US

    TAXES | REGS
Hi there, I'm getting ready to import some goods made of wood into the US, and I stumbled on the Lacey Act. This law forces any importer to submit a declaration of the origin of the wood and some other data points. My Chinese supplier told me she's never heard of this, and she's been in the...

Hello from a Spaniard in Lisbon, Portugal

    INTRO
Thanks for pointing this out @designernils! Classics studies ancient knowledge that has stood the test of time for millennia, and that is worth more than dozens of academic papers from high-impact journals. I believe it's been quite useful in refining my critical thinking and decision-making...

Question about possibly conflicting business names

    QUESTION
I did some research on trademarks to register my brand in the US, and your name could get you in trouble. I would change it, as @amp0193 suggested. 1. It's quite generic, so chances are the USPTO will reject an application based on a text-based mark. 2. There are other similar marks registered...

Hello from a Spaniard in Lisbon, Portugal

    INTRO
Hi there! I'm Alex, a 29-year-old Spaniard based in Lisbon, Portugal. I'm about to launch my own brand on Amazon US — my supplier is producing the goods. I have a newsletter about behavioural economics and decision theory, and I do data engineering / data science freelance work to sustain...
