    Take the Leap

    MINDSET
I took a break from work to take a dip in the hot tub. It was 12:00 AM. I was tired, but couldn’t sleep. I took a deep breath, witnessed a shooting star streak across the night sky, and smiled. I couldn’t believe how much my life had changed in less than a week. Three of my friends, all of...

Your brain on beer vs coffee

    MINDSET
1st: Great infographic, it's 100% true for me. 2nd: I often will drink 1-2 times a week to blow off steam, and kind of relax from the stresses of the world around me. It's much easier to unwind after a drink or two. Also, I am definitely more creative when I drink alcohol, but not as much in...

    Business and Brewskies 2014

    MEETUPS
Perhaps, you may be right. We were shocked with the demand of B&P this year, and it caught us a little off guard. B&P (as far as I know) isn't a good ol' boys club, and we have no intention of dividing any particular member or group. Had we anticipated there would be this sort of demand, we...

    B&P 2014 Official Thread

    MEETUPS
We can't open Dinners to people without tickets. It was packed last year, and that was without anyone bringing guests. Also, we have to order food for the people who bought tickets. Just a heads up. Mike and Danielle are kind enough to open their home up, and we just can't start inviting people...

    B&P 2014 Official Thread

    MEETUPS
It's fine. Dinners are only included IF you buy a ticket. We usually hang out or go to the bars in the after hours. I don't think he's expecting to crash Dinner. :) Edit: Richkid I hope you hopped on the waiting list. :)

If you want to go, don't count on someone sending you a PM saying their ticket is for sale. Get on the wait list (read the first post in this thread). Don't wait for something to happen, or you to "luck" into tickets. Just make it happen.

    GOLD! PEOPLE
This post would make an EXCELLENT blog post. I'm actually moving in less than 2 weeks, and most of my friends and family don't get it when I explain why. Who cares. :)

Are you using Tumblr for your business?

    HOT! EXECUTION
Do you know what age group is primarily on Tumbler? I need to hit the older demographic without kids (or kids that have left the nest). I'm in the pet niche... Edit: Thanks Brycer9. Should have immediately thought about Quantcast. I know we've chatted about this as well. Looks like Tumblr may...

    HOT!
No, I don't have any threads detailing my business - I just don't have the time for it and I'm learning so many new things I'm not sure how helpful it would be. Come to B&P though - I'm sure I'll talk a little bit about it there. A small group of us at B&P started our own private mastermind...

    I'm Switching Lanes

    HOT!
I wouldn't call it success, yet, but more of positive progress. I have a long way to go, and a helluva lot to learn. Where I take this will depend on my execution and dedication. I have learned so many things in the last year, that I could write a book about it. This is the best I have to...

    Unique website development question

    WEB/DIGITAL
Looks like you need a little more power than what a Wordpress e-commerce extension would give you. Magento can do this out of the box with Configurable and/or Grouped products. They also have bundle products, and extra extensions if you need further customization.
