How do you control media consumption and distractions while building your business?

    INTRO
Simple: become a creator, not consumer. Start making content around your business. Turn your bad habit into something with a positive ROI.

No bullshit books that help you get rich

    HOT! BOOKS
Books don't directly make you rich, but I think a lot of grievances with them are mainly based on people's assumption that they do. Example: I landed a job that was way above my experience. Why? Because I was able to answer tough questions as a result of reading business books in my free...

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread

    HOT! CHAT
Anytime I Google somebody I respect or who has provided some sort of value to the world, there's always a Reddit thread shitting on them. People on Reddit find any way to bring down anybody of influence. It's literally a place where the biggest slimeballs on the internet converge in their...

Failure is An Asset: My Execution Thread.

    HOT! EXECUTION
Been a minute, so I'll give a quick update. Firstly, I've finally landed a job offer. I F*cking needed this; I'm barely able to engage with entrepreneurship without steady income. Yes, it's slowlane, but as MJ once said: I'm an entrepreneur with a job.. for now. My speaking skills have also...

Anyone have the link to (the thread?) where MJ talked about finding his old "depression" diary? It's a very inspiring read, but can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance

    When Is Enough, Enough?

    MINDSET EXECUTION FEEDBACK
In restrospect, reading through this thread is F*cking hilarious to me. I failed to take the advice of everybody, and wondered why what I was doing wasn't working. Funny enough, when I implemented a snippet of this advice I actually got sales. Allowing people to answer the first few questions...

A problem that keeps you up at night (MODEL B2C)

    IDEA MARKETING
Enjoyable post to read, thanks for that. Another way of thinking about it could be: A solution to a problem that also keeps you up at night. For example: Anna's car broke down (problem) and a local mechanic can slot her in next week (solution). However, Anna has an important job...

Failure is An Asset: My Execution Thread.

    HOT! EXECUTION
Not too much happening, but I'm running an intense guerilla marketing campaign. I'm following a lot of stuff Alex Hormozi spoke of, such as offering free value upfront. Therefore, I'm working on a free beginners workout guide PDF to offer as part of my onboarding process. Additionally, I'll...

"Ah, I'll try run a very small Google Ad to my app over the weekend, it'll take about 30 mins to set up". About an hour and a bit later, 90% of my time has been spent dodging poor website design, field bugs, and payment bugs. I don't know who designs the ad interfaces at Meta and Google, but...

Is "local" still a trust factor in 2026?

    MARKETING QUESTION
I try shop local, but it doesn't help when they join franchises that INCREASE friction. Moreover, if they're too expensive, I'm not paying more just because they're "local". Doesn't that just mean less middlemen? No thanks. Maybe when I'm stable I could justify it.

Got my gym app published to Google Play. From here on out, it's mainly marketing and adjusting based on user feedback. For the first few days, I'll only use organic traffic by posting to socials etc. The premium version unlocks a lot of nice functionality at €6.99 per month. Although it's...

You're best off using the service I used. Got approved for Google Play production with no issues at all. Most people are NPCs with an attention span of a fish, I had the same problem. I despise relying on the actions of some stranger to make production progress.

Run MJ's Weighted Average Decision Matrix and create fake door tests (draft up landing page, pretend you're selling the product, run ads to it, and analyze market interest).

That is F*cking bullshit. After all those "files" came out, there's a big question as to what ALL of our politicians are up to in the darkness. And yet, they demand more taxation? For what exactly? More "ice cream"?

Looking for reliable ODM protein bar manufacturer

    SOURCING FEEDBACK
AliExpress is good. Chinese companies from here are usually nice to deal with. Western companies mostly have ridiculous minimum order quantities (MOQ). So unless you have some upfront capital and a tolerance for risk, most of them are out of the equation.
