Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATHe is just regurgitating things from the past, as many people do. My problem with people who study history, like Greene and Holiday, is simple. They want takeaways and 'aha' moments, and they market them to us. They try to make sense of the past, but sense often gets lost, like when they take a...- Panos Daras

Has Moving to a Warm and Sunny Climate Made You Happier?
NOTABLE! MINDSETMoving to a sunny place didn't make me happier. Where you live isn't about good weather or low taxes. It's about finding what pushes you to grow. During Greece's hard times in 2016, I moved to the Netherlands. I didn't go for comfort. I went for a place that would challenge me. I wanted my...- Panos Daras

Why Quiet Quitting Is Holding You Back in Life
GOLD! MINDSETI revisited this thread today after some time, and I've changed my mind on many things about it. Quiet quitting is a symptom of a bigger problem. If you tend to believe that external factors control your life, you should address this before it creates a spillover effect. You quiet quit on your...- Panos Daras

HOT! CHATI do not agree with Mr. Beast's approach since it is immature, situational, and can easily be taken out of context with bad results, but that's fine. I do not wish to take Black Dragon's place arguing about stuff on the internet:happy:. I like the Altman article you shared though a lot. If you...- Panos Daras

HOT! CHATGold nuggets and pedos go hand in hand for Mr. Beast. Joking (not) aside, I'm curious to see what you see as gold nuggets. From what I read inside the document, it's a company to be avoided like the plague. The whole document reads like it was written by a 16-year-old on puberty. I get the...- Panos Daras

HOT! CHATI liked this video about free software in general, including project management. It talks about it at around 2:11: View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5dhaQm_J6U&ab_channel=Fireship I have used Monday, Notion, Asana, and Jira. All of them suck. HOT! IDEABasically, she says, "I am what I am and what I am needs no excuses" (remember that song?). This is one of the most destructive narratives of modern society, along with the mind-numbing, self-defeating plague of "Love yourself." Instead of the social media "love yourself" version, my version...- Panos Daras

Avoid action faking in the idea stage.
QUESTIONWhat product or service can you offer that people will want to buy? Create a waiting list for your idea to check interest and secure early customers. If nobody wants that something is wrong.. Ravens Guide To Taking Action - A step by step process that is guaranteed to result in millions of dollars
GOLD! SCALING EXECUTIONThanks for taking the time to write these. The calendar checklist has worked well for me over the last couple of years, but it becomes obsolete, to be honest, when I develop the habit. It's a good start, though. Brain dumps are also really powerful in their different shapes and sizes, including...- Panos Daras
