    The Personal Branding Chat Thread

    NOTABLE! HOT! CHAT
Not a fan of personal branding as a term but found some useful frameworks anyone can use from this video: View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFkR34AMPw8&list=PPSV&t=4570s&ab_channel=TheDiaryOfACEO Do you love frameworks? I do! I hate generalities. Because it is a 2 hour podcast and...

Do real estate agents even need their personal websites?

    REAL ESTATE
Selling this seems a bit outdated in the age of AI. So many cheap ways to do it nowdays. And so many people offering the same service. It would be easier to sell them the custom wood signs to pin on the grass.

Are you getting stopped by the tiniest hurdles ever?

    GOLD! MINDSET
Good response and just to wrap this up: Wealth accumulation is not encouraged in the Bible as a goal in itself. Instead, as you pointed out, the Bible emphasizes hard work, stewardship, and generosity, with warnings about the dangers of prioritizing wealth over spiritual and moral values. Wealth...

Are you getting stopped by the tiniest hurdles ever?

    GOLD! MINDSET
Everything is wrong with the act of accumulating wealth in the New Testament. I do not know which book you are reading. It is one of the rare cases where Christianity does not contradict itself. It is very judgmental of people who accumulate wealth, do not pay their workers (harvesters), and ask...

Are you getting stopped by the tiniest hurdles ever?

    GOLD! MINDSET
Hustle culture hypes risk like it’s the magic bullet until your money goes up in smoke or you’re staring down a lawsuit. Sure, going all-in can open doors, but blowing off legal basics and skipping ethical guardrails is how you become a cautionary tale. Don’t be that clown. Double-check the...

    Starting A GYM

    EXECUTION
It's great that you have a passion for becoming a gym owner, but passion alone isn't enough. Have you considered whether people would actually go to a gym at your chosen location, and why? Can you validate this somehow before putting your hard-earned money on the line?

The big question: What exactly is going to change?

    NOTABLE! EXECUTION
This month, I changed how I plan the year. I split it into quarters with goals for health, wealth, and family. Each week, I update a Notion board where I write: 1) What did you do this week to hit your goals? 2) What will you do next week? I also scrapped all optional goals, keeping only the...

    AI Agent creation

    - AI -
So far, the best use case I’ve found in companies for AI agents is feeding them a whole knowledge base of the company’s SOPs. That way, new or existing employees can figure out how to perform various tasks. AI agents are also great for customer support questions. I’ve seen solutions like these...

Elon Musk tells Disney to "go f*ck themselves"

    HOT! CHAT
Not really. This thread feels like it’s devolving into a sedated echo chamber of lobotomized political takes.

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Random Chat Thread...

    CHAT - AI -
Which AI chatbot or LLM do you recommend that can be installed locally on a MacBook and offers decent performance? I need one as a consultant to use during power outages or cyberattacks as a backup.

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread

    HOT! CHAT
The video does not say that it does not exist as a concept. It says that the left and right spectrum consistently fails to describe what is happening in the real world. Examples so you can understand what I am talking about: Marijuana legalization: Many libertarian Republicans support it...

It's always us vs them, right? Who do you think benefits from you and more people feeling this way? Who do you think makes money and gets power out of this?

    HOT! CHAT
Whenever I discuss politics with people I am either labeled as right-wing racist or left-wing communist which for me seems quite absurd. This video explains quite nicely why this might be the case. View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYoA1R38cuc&ab_channel=TheMarketExit

ChatGPT AI is a huge breakthrough, a Google killer

    - AI -
I'm not talking about this case. Rather, I'm referring to when you get an answer from a company's AI chatbot that simply plugs into an LLM and gives you whatever answer. This issue can still occur when you're asking many questions throughout the day.

ChatGPT AI is a huge breakthrough, a Google killer

    - AI -
I use Claude or Notebook LM for these kinds of tasks, especially when analyzing large amounts of text and needing exact answers based on the content. This limitation is why I'm skeptical about letting AI run automatically in the background for applications like customer support based on uploaded...

    Congratulations on your retirement

    MINDSET
It is not all or nothing. I would counter-argue that this job gave this person a reason to wake up in the morning. Many people wither and die a short while after they retire. I do not see myself retiring completely ever. I want to design my life in a way that gives me a reason to do something...

Did you know that Maslow's hierarchy of needs was never supposed to be a pyramid? Management consultants turned it into one! Yet another thing they have ruined.
