    Let's talk about purpose

    MINDSET
Says who? What makes you feel this way? Is it a rational thought or just an "impression"? You should never have tied your dreams to your identity in the first place. Classic rookie mistake. Did you actually try to make it work? What did you learn from your failures? And if you had another shot...

    Let's talk about purpose

    MINDSET
I’d read Nicomachean Ethics by Aristotle and actually apply it, not just skim through it and move on. Even after 2,000 years, his breakdown of what it means to live well still holds up. It’s not just philosophical crap. It’s a practical guide to building habits, shaping character, and...

Also, many people, because they are stupid, do not realize this isn’t an either-or game, it’s an AND game. It all depends on your needs. You can have solar AND nuclear AND geothermal AND wind, depending on your location and what makes the most sense for your society.

You don’t understand it because you’re not stupid. Many people, however, are stupid. Throw them a simple, dumbed-down slogan, something like “wInDmILlz r uGlY aNd kIlL bIrDs!” or “sOlaR pAnElZ cOmE fRoM cHiNa!” and suddenly, they snap out of their lethargy and jump on the bandwagon.

I saw this great video from your fellow countrywoman discussing this. Definitely worth a watch: View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgec0-ddRc4&ab_channel=SabineHossenfelder From my personal experience, I know 10 U.S. citizens who moved to the Netherlands and are never going back to the...

How to become a man of value?

    MINDSET
You need to find what valuable means to YOU! You have to do the hard work on this part with your own psyche. You cannot just outsource this in a forum and expect people to tell you what to do. For me for example a valuable person is one that has ethos and character. What is it for you?

The answer to “I HATE my job” threads

    MINDSET
I kind of hate the overly optimistic comments in the take above. I prefer the words of Epictetus: "If you are offered some heavy work, you will find the patience." See hard work as a way to build patience. Just like lifting heavy builds muscle.

There are also so many automations you can do programmatically before even integrating AI. There is definately a need. Maybe you can go broader?

Cyber security & AI for SaaS

If you don’t know that, then this business isn’t for you. Try landing a job as a security analyst first. To answer your question—for example, in payment platforms, AI models analyze customer behavior. They identify common patterns of what fraudsters do, and based on that, they can trigger 3DS or...

They’re not. In fact, they rank at the bottom of the happiness index. You have a weird obsession with the weather. There are far more important things: education, infrastructure, social mobility, safety, and low inequality to name a few.

I also changed. I was like why the F*ck did I not migrate from the age of 20? I lost 10 years that I could have been so much ahead. People in Northern Europe do not know how much of a leg up they have. Money wize I literally 5xed my income the first two months I moved in the Netherlands.

Yeah, okay, North Macedonia isn’t in the EU. The bar for Greece is other EU countries. Everywhere else I’ve been in the EU—whether "southern," "eastern European," or whatever—was still better. When I lived in Athens, the metro was out of service every other week. Getting to my university took...

Yeah, I’ve got a recommendation: never F*cking drive in Greece. Joking aside, the infrastructure is goddamn awful—like dogshit wrapped in catshit levels of terrible. Check the screenshot below. It’s full-on Balkan-style chaos—barely European roads, if we’re being real—and people drive drunk all...

You're overcomplicating things. Do whatever the hell you want. If you want to find a good partner first, go for it. If you want to chase money first, then do that. Just don’t waste time trying to copy someone else’s playbook. You do you. Set your own priorities based on who you are.
