Choose Hard, Live Easy: The Art of War for Decision-Making (Release thread)

    HOT! BOOKS
How much is your hand cramping from the hand written notes? Cool packaging! I got mine yesterday. I'm probably missing something obvious, but where do we download the companion workbook pdf? I logged into my Viperion account but I only see my order for the book there.

Microsoft Hates Us: Have You Moved To Linux? How Is It Over There?

    HOT! OFF-TOPIC
An iPad doesn't have a keyboard. If you buy an iPad + magic keyboard it comes out to $600, so the same price (or $100 more expensive since the Neo is $500 w/ student discount.) Obviously there are alternative keyboards one could use with an iPad but the typical consumer is going to buy what...

This is much closer to my experience. Short walks and household chores like vacuuming have practically zero effect on strain.

For those considering joining the group- be warned that it's basically just MJ's wife kicking all of our asses every day. A 14+ strain yesterday wasn't even good enough for top 3.

Everyone: What Is Your Age and Liquid Net Worth? (Share Only If Comfortable)

    QUESTION
If you hang around long enough you can figure this out without having to directly ask. My assumption is that someone running a marketing agency worth $1.5M (we are talking USD right? not Russian Rubles or Schrute bucks?) would have a higher emotional intelligence than this. But since you seem...

    EXECUTION
Have you been trying to grow your following on Facebook / Instagram? Posting content? And if so, how consistently? This seems like the kind of deal where some social proof on your profiles might go a long way. If I see ads from someone trying to sell me something, and I go to their business...

Just joined! First time I'm using the Community function within Whoop... the daily strain rank seems like it would be a fun competition!

For Fastlaners making more than 30k/mo, why do you want to make more money?

    HOT! CHAT
That's Reddit propaganda. Not reflected in reality from what I have seen. Quick google search says that only approximately 5% of Americans work 2 jobs. Of that 5%, half are unskilled, half are people who have a college degree. I was part of that half with a college degree for about 8 months...

I find the cheaper the item I'm selling on marketplace, the more of a headache I can expect the buyers to be. Higher amounts of cash as a prerequisite for purchasing the item is a great idiot filter.

@Dark Water I tried signing up earlier and got the email confirmation, but when I click the link I get directed to a blank page with just the gradient background. If I refresh the page I see the "Loading" message and the little rocket icon for half a second but then nothing. This is in Brave...

UI looks really good from those screenshots, amazing how quickly you were able to put this together! You may already know this, but the "Skip for now and use locally →" button doesn't seem to work. I was just trying to play around without setting up an account.

My township changed our trash pickup provider and it has had a larger negative impact on my life than any presidential election. I feel more strongly about this then any national issue. I am now a single issue voter in my local elections and that issue is the trash people.

Yeah I've seen offers like that with returns in the past, it makes sense that sellers would want a way to avoid eating return shipping costs. It seems weird to do it with completely unrelated items. It wasn't like they sent me a similar product like a light box of different dimensions. I...

I bought a light box on Ebay to take product photos. Package arrives and I open it, it's very clearly not a light box but I have no idea what it is because the instructions are in Chinese. I open a return and take pictures of the not-light-box package. The seller tells me that what I received...

    NOTABLE! HOT! BOOKS CHAT
I read The Snowball. Didn't love the book mostly for the reasons you mentioned. But I didn't think it made him come off as a nice guy at all. He was a workaholic his entire life. He completely neglected his family life, even after having more money than God. The biographer frequently makes a...

Privacy-Focused Alternative to Microsoft Suite and Apple?

    OFF-TOPIC
For laptops the obvious answer is Linux. I've run Linux on my home desktop computer for years and it's been stable. So don't interpret this as me being a Linux hater. But I don't see myself going back to Linux on a laptop. When I'm traveling with my laptop and just want to connect to the...
