I agree, if you worked on your channel and community for a solid amount of time every day then no doubt it would become valuable. How many hours a day do you plan on working on it? Do you have another source of income?

Im a carpenter in the UK and a decent one at that (check out my insta @dckitcheninstalls). I don't enjoy it that much. I see on here a lot of people saying they wish they were trades people as you can make decent money. I dont agree. You can make ok money as a one man band trade person but it...

    Temporary Slowlane Decisions

    SLOWLANE
Regarding the garden maintenance, the services I provide are lawn mowing, hedge cutting and garden clearance. I price work at around £35 per hour which means that a day gone to plan with travel time between gardens usually works out £240 per day income. Allot of clean, efficient work goes into...

Hi Mikkel, thanks for the reply. I decided to start the garden maintenance as I needed to change things up and was inspired to earn more money by starting a business. I also wanted to get away from construction as i was tired of breathing in dust all day! (Which i would like to sort out as it's...

Hi Spenny, thanks for the reply. I have done quite well with it and I'm glad I started because I've learned alot, like how to deal with lots of customers, how to quote and invoice and also how to build (a basic) website. I do believe that people in the UK are less likely to pay good money for...

Hi Jon822, I believe there is a market for both but am more confident that the kitchen fitting market is more lucrative. I believe this on the basis that tradesmen generally yet paid more than gardeners. Also there are kitchen suppliers in my area. Hi Scott, I did these as a subcontractor for...

Hi, I'm after a bit of advice. I work the winter months full time as a self employed carpenter working for a couple of local builders. I have a small lawn mowing business I started a year or so ago as I got inspired by YouTube videos (American). And I needed to start a business for my own...

Intro from a carpenter in England

Thanks for the audio recording, I like the concept of 'grow what you know', it reminds me of what Earl Nightingale talks about on his recording 'Acres of diamonds' where he advises to take a subjective look at what you do as if an alien from another planet were watching you do it, deconstruct it...

Hi There, My name is Will. I'm 34 and I live in England. None of my income is in any way fastlane! I dont enjoy working on site as...
