Stay Away from Upwork until you're 18!

    SIDE HUSTLE
I have contacts with the client outside Upwork. Totally their loss :) Just keep providing value and good juju will come your way.

Stay Away from Upwork until you're 18!

    SIDE HUSTLE
So I sign my first contract on Upwork (yay!) and I get a notification. I need to submit my About ID (Government ID) I realized that I'm under 18. I open a new tab, type my query frantically, and open the first result. "You're not allowed to use Upwork until you're 18" I guess I'll have to...

This one will be nostalgic for @MJ DeMarco and other users I've seen on the web archives so far like @Vigilante. This is the oldest snapshot I could find in the internet archives. Thanks to the Wayback machine, new users can get a glimpse of what TFLF looked like (and the old book cover)...

Finally, a breakthrough... 2 weeks later, here's my progress. I got results for a client (in one ad set) and increased his leads 7X for the budget spent. I thought it would be a good opportunity to pitch this to someone. Then I had something in mind. I contacted the agency owner and pitched...

Time for a sob story... The agency paid me in "Opportunity". They justified my 4 months of toiling with just a freaking "We provided an opportunity to work on real-time projects. Since you started this project in the internship period, you were volunteering to do this". Yeah, like someone...

I've been hesitating to reply to this thread. Why? I'm now learning SEO, WordPress and god knows what else... and also helping others with my copywriting skills. So I'm not all that learn and forget. I do take action, it just doesn't feel like I'm taking enough. I decided that the skillsets...

    Introducing myself

One more Pakistani to the forum. Welcome aboard! I'm a 17 yr old Pakistani teen just like you. You're on point with parents pressuring you to get a government job, but believe me, they simply don't know any better. I still have to lie to my grandmother that I'm going to be a doctor. If you...

    Earn money at 16

Yo Welcome Aboard! If you want to earn money, start by helping people solve their problems, aka get positive results. And you only get positive results when you shift your mindset to provide value, not "How much can I earn?" Money is the side effect of providing value. As for your answer, I...

Okay. Time to update this thread: When I was ranting on that agency client. I caught myself doing the unthinkable. I realized I was unconsciously "Trying to sell" and not "Provide value". Since then, I took action, volunteered myself to provide value. All for free. And for the sake of providing...

Deja vu. I did read that text somewhere, I just don't remember. I think it was on your youtube channel, maybe? That text would make a good booklet if you ask me.
