Hello from Denver - self publishing success

    GOLD!
I don't know for sure if this has been asked or not so you have to correct me in that case (i searched the thread but did not find it). I assume you pay taxes, how do you do this (i.e have you registered a company that you publish all your books through?) Do you need different pen names for...

    [HELP] Indentured time=No, action=Yes

Did you read TMF yet? :) I'd say like the book: time is what we don't have. It's more or less the only thing limited. This is why I need to set my mind on a particular task, focus on that alone and learn from it! Sounds cool. I would suggest you read up on MVP and stuff first instead, test...

    [HELP] Indentured time=No, action=Yes

Awesome! Why do you want to do after you've reached your goal of paying back your debt? I think this is very well put. I'm looking to do the same thing as well as I find myself having the commitment to change, but I get overwhelmed with information I see what you are doing here. This is...

    I've Read The Millionaire Fastlane!

    GOLD! HOT!
I just finished the book. Really love it, one of my top 5 reads on entrepreneurship and mindset in general. I really enjoyed the chapter where you bring up chess as an analogy and you conclude to say "chess are not won by taking someones pawns"... I just got that moment of clarity!

    GOLD! EXECUTION
Great synopsis of core fundamentals. I really enjoyed reading this. Took many notes to implement on my own!

From starving writer to stuffed writer. Self publishing, take two.

    PUBLISHING
A funny thought came up in my head reading this bullet; are you addressing the symptom or the problem? ;)

    [HELP] Indentured time=No, action=Yes

In my case it is. Yes this is what I am doing at the moment with learning and reading. But I somewhat feel overwhelmed and don't really know where to start of business-wise. What path should I take and where should I start with all the knowledge I've read up on? I guess what I am trying to...

    [HELP] Indentured time=No, action=Yes

For the things listed I believe that part time is the best method for me. But if I were to pursue a real business model I would rather go full-time and give it more focus. With full-time I could get things done more quickly. Perhaps I'm wrong here?

    [HELP] Indentured time=No, action=Yes

I just got out of the office, which is where I work (for someone else). Today I've been at the office 11,5 hours plus I commute 1 hour to the office and 1 hour back. Total Indentured time today is 13,5 hours + 1 hour lunch+ 0,5 hour getting ready in the morning=15 hours give or take. I feel...

    Idea needs owner.

    IDEA
Accountability/responsibility - Not the most obvious for some, common sense to others. MJ hit the nail on this one. Anyway, I'm always curious to know what kind of business you are talking about here, even though I got my thoughts about what it might be. If you are yet to find anyone willing...

Setting up an online business from scratch

    EXECUTION
I think this is really smart. A niche within the niche.. You see a lot of large corporations doing this. Run your business as if you would run it forever, or you will.

I understand completly! :) I interpret this as you have some sort of validation. It seems that professionals have the problem you are solving, does this mean that "amatures" has it too? Sounds like a good plan. Will you be able to sell more to those customers later down the road? If they get...

Setting up an online business from scratch

    EXECUTION
Did you validate your product? Since you already have it though, I see no point in why you shouldn't put it out there. But I don't see why (I from a consumer-perspective) I should buy your product yet. Is it special? what is your USP? How will I recieve value from this? I won't buy a $ 799...

Hello everyone, good to finally post

    INTRO
I felt the exact same way! I'm reading TMF right now and finished 1/3 of the book so far. Wont comment on it yet though. Sorry to hear about your gf but hey, you seem like the one who dare to take a risk, and not any stupid risk but a risk you already figured out how to tackle (you said you had...

People who complain the most about their jobs are the ones who never do anything about it

I don't mean to call you out on stuff that I don't know anything about. So I am just assuming here; if you hang around this girl a lot I understand your frustration if she drags you down with negative energy. But if you dont hang around her then I can't see why you want to lead her into another...

    EXECUTION
Here is a pretty decent guide that might help you along the way. I found it quite comprehensive, it's written by Steve Scott (http://www.stevescottsite.com/) and I got it from one of Pat Flynn's podcast episode. You can probably find it at his site too, haven't checked it myself actually :P
