It's like reading a Gary Halbert letter. Starting with Dear Putting in a big hook telling them the offer in a clear way product benefits testimonials tapping into the emotions and a challenge signing off with proper ending I love this, I printed it:)

AWE-SUM Case study: Self-publishing NOT-Amazon books, i.e. on your own website and make MORE money.

Solid choice! Seems like a stupid thing to do :) And that promise is quite poor if you don't do your own marketing in a way. If you are used to the traffic of Amazon, when selling your Kindle books, you will laugh at Udemy's. It is not even close.

No, sorry. Sure it could work as a substitute for a donation-button. Since you are monetizing your site in other ways a donation is hardly applicable. This can be a way to work around it. People hardly pay that price. Most visitors only buy courses on udemy if they're on sale with a $10 buck...

No, expressing gratefulness is a virtue. So thank you for your compliments. But as you say, it is more or less the system that Ryan Diess has, or Ken Ster, or any other IM-people I've seen. I can even mention a lot of offline entrepreneurs who has created systems to optimize the profitability...

Not sure if trolling me or genuinely saying thanks. But I always enjoy a laugh so regardless if you're trolling me or not - anytime, you're welcome:)

This is even better. Write 10 blog posts (~2500 words/post) on a very narrow topic - Optimize them for SEO and share on preferred social platform. Summarize each post into 5 short bullets and build them out to a standalone "product". Turn each set of 5 bullets into leadmagnets and free...

Why not sell on both amazon and your own website? If you're not enrolled in Kindle Unlimited it's possible right? I mean, put the stuff on your website using gumroad as payment processor and delivery system, then just host an image with a link on your site - easy peasy

    Question about copywriting

    MARKETING
@MJ DeMarco no, I said that. I don't understand why we are including "fishy" products in this argument in the first place. And what's with the aggro? It seems as if you are accusing me of selling scams to make a few bucks. I go a very long way to provide my clients with extraordinary value...

    Question about copywriting

    MARKETING
@wade1mil @MJ DeMarco fair enough, but that's hardly an ethical way of selling anything. Nobody in their right mind would fall for that. Copywriting is not to be used as a tool to convey scammy products, not for me at least

    Question about copywriting

    MARKETING
"Ogilvy believed headlines were so important that he viewed them as being worth 90% of the money invested in advertising. We’ve seen e-mail subject lines where a one word change increased click-throughs by 46%. Open rates were nearly identical and the e-mail creative was exactly the same for...

    New Business, Marketing Tips?

    MARKETING
Sorry, I never touched base on the cross-sell. An upsell is where you want a customer to spend more money usually on the same product, by buying upgrades with more features etc. A cross-sell is a totally different product, but usually within the same niche or area. Here is a great explanation...

    New Business, Marketing Tips?

    MARKETING
I believe in sustainability and ethics. So I would never sell a tripwire/frontend or a downsell that is not a complete standalone product. I think this would hurt your business.

    New Business, Marketing Tips?

    MARKETING
Ok, so this will be very general since I don't know anything about your product other than that you are in the fitness niche. Here is a standard way of doing it: Tripwire (low ticket product, this is what you normally see around $5-$9 with $7 as some kind of standard) Those who purchase gets...

    New Business, Marketing Tips?

    MARKETING
You talk to them. Go to forums in your niche and look up people with lots of posts and conversations, reach out to them and ask if they want to do a review of your product and tell them that you have an upcoming launch (set it to 5 weeks or something) and let them know that you offer 100%...

    New Business, Marketing Tips?

    MARKETING
Depending on the nature of your infoproduct, I would probably put it up to clickbank and JVzoo.. As far as getting traffic to your blog, I would look at digitalmarketer.com and backlinko.com for traffic and SEO optimization. You dont need anything else. Then I would do as Neil Patel teaches...

Hi @nkolenda and welcome to the forum, great to have you here! How do you go about to understand and flesh out your audience? Say I have an ebook in the survival niche and it's for men, basically. I THINK the best clients are 30-35 living in Northern states/Canda. But how do I go about finding...
