Recommendation For Overseas Development Team
WEB/DIGITALI just reviewed your past posts. Supposedly you need 200k to expand your cannabis business. I would advise against making an app in that case because your money could be better spent. If you don't even have 200k in cash you definitely can't afford to lose money making an app. Try...- fhs8

Society's Failure
FAILURE RANTI'm not too sure of that. Last I checked there are twice as many people per capita are going to college today when compared to the 1980's. That's why people (especially the younger generation) are trying to increase minimum wage instead of economic output/productivity. Most jobs that didn't...- fhs8

BigCommerce Rest In Peace (Alternatives Re: Price Increase)
WEB/DIGITALI wouldn't recommend 3dCART. I've tried a ton of carts about 3 months ago and 3D cart was near the bottom of my list. Unfortunately I don't really remember why I didn't like it. Just looking at a demo theme right now the "slicknav" hamburger icon is just by itself lacking text that says...- fhs8

Recommendation For Overseas Development Team
WEB/DIGITALI'm not kidding. I've already made a couple of apps and server/desktop apps myself. It really depends on the app but many apps can be entirely completed by one person in about 10-20 weeks. If it's a game app then you'll probably need help to make all those textures. Here's the thing about...- fhs8

How a Few Hours of Work Can Make Your Website 10X More Effective
WEB/DIGITALIf a website has a 10x less conversion rate then there's just something seriously wrong with it. In real life most properly done websites have somewhat similiar conversion rates. Changing button colors, font sizes, and button placement usually doesn't change conversion rates by more than 0.5%...- fhs8

Recommendation For Overseas Development Team
WEB/DIGITALWhy are you looking for a development company overseas? If you're strapped for cash then just program it yourself? That way you'll know exactly the progress being made and it'll be exactly how you want it down to every detail. All this time spent looking for a company could've been spent on...- fhs8

Learning to Program is STUPID! (or SMART?!)
GOLD! HOT!Of course learning to program is worth it. You can run out of money developing a program, have someone rip you off, steal your idea, or put in a backdoor. As an anecdote someone tried to charge be $1,800 to implement a reservation date option on my website. I ended up doing it myself for...- fhs8

BigCommerce Rest In Peace (Alternatives Re: Price Increase)
WEB/DIGITALWhich is why you need to keep all your software such as LAMP, shopping cart, and plugins up to date. Also themes and plugins from some sites might be outdated or come pre-hacked. Plugins also might have vulnerabilities. I doubt the closed source shopping software is just as safe. There's...- fhs8

BigCommerce Rest In Peace (Alternatives Re: Price Increase)
WEB/DIGITALTheir default templates are pretty bad but can be changed a lot with plugins. If you know CSS3, PHP, and html then you can change the look and feel to anything you want. The default theme now has supermenu support. There is a lot of code out there already for implementing custom waterfalls...- fhs8

BigCommerce Rest In Peace (Alternatives Re: Price Increase)
WEB/DIGITALIt's a 2.2% flat rate with absolutely nothing else such as monthly fees? If you take your total processed revenue and divide it by the total amount paid to your processesor does it equal 2.2%? My own store has 500 products... wpml.org has millions of visitors a month and it runs Woocommerce...- fhs8

BigCommerce Rest In Peace (Alternatives Re: Price Increase)
WEB/DIGITALWhere are you getting 2.2% at? Does that include international cards? Shopify also has 2.4% +30c online rates for the unlimited plan. Anyways stay away from BC. They used to be very good but after this pricing increase you'd have to be insane to go with them. Their pricing structure is...- fhs8
